A new Pro Kompetition is upon us and that means its time for me to once again count every time a character is used in one of the (many, many) online tour event top 8s (and occasionally top 4, depending on what is streamed) Also, remember that this is just for fun and I failed math several times in several different ways in college, if something doesn't add up completely or seems off...its because I am big dumb.

Updated OP and first comment to reflect Liga Latina #5!

Another wild week in Liga Latina we had things like...Brazil getting its very first repeating champion, Jax getting his first Pro Komp win ever, Terminator making it to grand finals, iScorpion debuting (and wining with) his eighteenth character...Kabal! Kabal had previously only won one Pro Komp event (way back in June of 2019 at Fighting Games Challenge for the first Pro Kompetition) so that was kind of neat to see!

Honestly, Liga Latina has been one of my favorite regions to watch! Catch y'all next week for Interkontinental Kombat #5!

Hey y'all, I got a bit behind because of some real life stuff but...the OP and first comment are now caught up to include Liga Latina AND Interkontinental Kombat Week #7!

If you pay attention REALLY closely you will see that there is no character listed as a winner for Europe West #7. There was some sort of technical issue and one of the players in grand finals had to DQ. So MakoraN was declared the winner. Though MakoraN mostly used Cetrion throughout the day, they did use Skarlet in loser's finals. As such, I have decided not to presume that they would use Cetrion in grand finals and just didn't list a winning character for the week!

Updated OP and first comment to reflect North America Week #7! For the second week in a row we had a DQ in grand finals (Tweedy had somewhere else to be and forfeit the week to Hayatei), so just like in Europe West last week there will be no winning character listed for North America East #7. Other than that, we got to see Sub-Zero win an event which means that the top ten most used characters in the Pro Komp have all won at least one event...which is kind of cool.

Anyways, I'll see y'all sometime next week for the final week of Liga Latina before the regional finals!

 

Whew, May has been hella busy for me but I've finally got this thing caught up with Liga Latina and Interkontinental Kombat #8! Only one more weekend of regular kombat and then on to the regional finals! This has been a blast and I will see y'all (hopefully on time) next week with North America #8!!!
