Tech List of Armored Special Attacks in Ascending Start-Up

STB Damashi

SmallBurntEarths
Here is a list of most (Tremor is missing) Armored Special Attacks from fastest start-up to slowest. I am currently learning Liu Kang and I was trying to test the fastest special attacks I could armor break based on my execution as well as other set-ups so I figured a list of Armored Attacks would be helpful; there wasn't one so I decided to create one. This could be useful for quickly finding a move you are searching for that has specific frames on start-up. If there are any errors please let me know and I will edit the post as I got these off a frame-data website and the in-game movelist; enjoy.

No It is 13 frames
It's not.

When Alien does his medium delays, he can block it. He can't block 13 frame moves. It has to be 14-16 frames. No more no less.

I'm guessing 15 since that's the combined frames of the dash punch and the modification, when you look at the frame data.

Edit: Actually I think you might be right. Leaving this post for shame.

Trust me, I'm a doctor
While this is great info, it's a bit of a basic concept. What would be more interesting, to me, is how long the armor is active on the move.

For example, Pain and Gain has a long start up but it's 35-51 frames of armor that starts the moment the move does and doesn't end until the move ends. Meanwhile, something like Lackey's Torryuken has armor from the start but loses armor after 6 frames into the move itself, meaning characters with certain jabs or whom are jumping away can interrupt it mid-air before the second hit lands.

Interesting.

Alien's EX DB2 in Tarkatan, probably has very few frames of armor.

That sounds extremely time-consuming but I see how it could be useful. If it took this long for a basic concept of a list to be created, I wonder how long would that take to create and post. Definitely sounds useful though...maybe you can make it (?)

Gesture Required Ahead

Get on that hook
I like this list. This is pretty much what I used to do for frame testi g but I never kept track of a list or anything so I just kind of went from character to character and checking their frames

Glad you like it man. Next I ima try to make one from most minus attacks to most plus, it's definitely gonna take a while though it'll be worth it to make testing a bit easier.

I think some of the data on Goro is incorrect, I could be wrong as I don't have a console to check on but BF2 in KW I believe is 10 frames, and PW startup is also 10 frames.

Again could be wrong.

I'll make sure to check the frames on those moves, thanks man

I thought jax overhead dash punch was 5 Frames 2 my knowledge it says it in frame data
No way it is 5 frames, I'll try to find out the actual number soon though since it isn't 28 frames. Someone mentioned it was around 15 frames though.
