Strategy Kung Lao Meter Building Data

This is a continuation of my Meter Building project for all of the characters. Shout out to Under_The_Mayo for inspiring me with The math of Quan. Check out the General Meter Building Data Information.

For blocked normals and specials, they all build 8.996212121% (for simplicity 8.996%) of meter per hit. So if you hit someone with b333 on block you build 26.988% because they were hit by 3 normals.

For blocked specials, you build meter on the initial use of the special and the extra meter because it was blocked. For example, if you use Spin you build the initial 5.989% of meter, but if it hits a blocking opponent then you add 8.996% which results in 14.985% of meter build.

This applies to all characters so Baraka or Sheeva for example build the same 8.996% on block.

There is no initial gain from EX attacks.

You also build meter by taking damage.
It takes 48% damage to build one bar.
This general information will tell you specifically how much build by the amount of damage you take.
You don't build meter when taking block chip damage.

Hat Toss and Ground Hat
Whiffed or Hit Hat Toss and Ground Hat - 3.725%, takes 26.83 for 1 bar
Blocked Hat Toss or Ground Hat - 12.722%, takes 7.86 for 1 bar
Blocked EX Hat Toss or Ground Hat - 8.996%, takes 11.11 for 1 bar

Spin
Whiffed or Hit Spin - 5.989%, takes 16.69 for 1 bar
Blocked Spin - 14.985%, takes 6.67 for 1 bar
Blocked EX Spin - 8.996% if the opponent is in the corner (against the wall) and 17.992% if the opponent is not touching the wall. Takes 11.11 and 5.55 for 1 bar respectively

Dive Kick
Whiffed or Hit Dive Kick - 2.249%, takes 44.46 for 1 bar
Blocked Dive Kick - 11.245%, takes 8.89 for 1 bar
Blocked EX Dive Kick - 26.988%, takes 3.7 for 1 bar

Teleport
Teleport - 5.989%, takes 16.69 for 1 bar
Blocked Teleport 2,3 or 4 - 14.985%, takes 6.67 for 1 bar

Blocked Normals
Single hit normals (1, 2, b3, 4, etc.) - 8.996%, takes 11.11 for 1 bar
b1 - 17.992%, takes 5.55 for 1 bar
1121 - 35.984%, takes 2.77 for 1 bar
b1f1 - 35.984%, takes 2.77 for 1 bar
21212 - 62.973%, takes 1.58 for 1 bar
241+2 - 26.988%, takes 3.7 for 1 bar
241+3 - 17.992%, takes 5.55 for 1 bar*
241+34 - 17.992%, takes 5.55 for 1 bar*
241+32 - 17.992%, takes 5.55 for 1 bar*
b333 - 26.988%, takes 3.7 for 1 bar
Teleport 2,3 or 4 - 8.999%, takes 11.11 for 1 bar

*although these moves have more that 2 hits, they cannot continue if the 24 are blocked so you can only get 2 blocked hits worth of meter build.

Note: When it says "takes 5.55 for 1 bar" for example, this is an EXACT measurement to fill your bar up to EXACTLY 100%. 6 of these blocked attacks will give you 105% or 110%, but for the sake of depth the decimals are included.

What about a tele 3 or tele 4? im assuming they are 8.999% as well?

Thats would mean that tele 3 into 212121 nets 71.992% of one bar......awesome
Yes if they're blocked they are 8.999% each. And they are considered normals because they don't build initial meter that specials do.

Wtf...Kung Lao has really solid meter building options.
 
hmmm.. 212121 looks like it gives you a bit more than 60%, I thought it would be more like 75 or something.

if it is 63% because there are 7 blocked hits which are 8.999% each. And you're welcome for the data

Nice job dude. Hey, you left out the b1f1 combo on block, I know that's like 3 or 4 hits I'm interested in seeing how much meter that would build
