Kung Lao fatality on Sega Genesis with 3-buttons pad

How to do hat-throw fatality? i'v readed some faqs but almost all say that this fatality is unknown, and his normal arcade LP(B,B,F) dont work.

Hold A, then Back, Forward, Let go of A. From full screen. Unlike Arcade/Other console ports, the hat does not have to be aimed.

I usually press Up on the D - Pad right before the hat reaches the neck. It usually works.

EDIT: However, on a 3 - Button pad, this is a mystery to me too.
