As for the combos: (Please post damage % btw)

No idea how you hit these, do you mean f112 ~ df1, 1, 1, 1, 111 ~ etc? I can't get even one 1 after f112, and not more than 2 after a glaive cancel. Something I'm missing?

I'm guessing you mean b14, but first one can hit 38% with f33 ~ bf3 as an ender, keeping them in the corner. I'll add that. Hits 38% with just d2 too, but I think you'd rather keep them in corner in a corner combo.
Second one is 40% right? I'll add it since it's up there in damage.

air fan combos?
You mean conversions off iaf? I was intending to add some air-to-air, anti-air combos as well, so yeah can work on those too.
Off top of my head, (in air) df1, df1, rc, f43, 21 ~ db1, njp, f33 ~ bf3 is 33%.

There is no 111/F112 ~ df1, f43 combo (switch side option)
There is no neutral jump punch combo
There is no jump kick air fan combo
I haven't optimized those combos yet, it would be nice if someone tried

There is no neutral jump punch combo
There is no jump kick air fan combo
I haven't optimized those combos yet, it would be nice if someone tried

Both these 111 and f112 combos have 1 f43 in them, so they switch sides, and they were in the list.
111 ~ df1, jik ~ df1, rc, f43, 21 ~ db1, f4 ~ bf3 / db3 [32%]
f112 ~ df1, jik ~ df1, dash, f43, 21 ~ db1, f4 ~ bf3 / db3 [36% / 37%]

Can add njp / jik combos I suppose.
I'm watching the video so far... all combos start with jip. I'm seeing a meterless mournful combo from midscreen, with jip, do 25%. I also see one with jip, then f43, and that's just unrealistic.
If there's a great combo in there that I'm missing, feel free to point out timestamp and I'll check its inputs and damage without jumpins. :)
 
I'll post damage when I get home. It's one of those off the top of my head combos. I don't even know any fan combos to save my life but Mournful, i got down. I edited my combo list as well.

This is not a cheat but whenever i'm in a tournament, during button check, i ask my opponent if I can try a combo. I then try, f112 db1 to see if it hits. If it doesn't, I just forget about it. That's one way, i check if it would be useful for me.

Hard too:
f43, f43, f43, d1 db1, move forward a bit, njp, shadow kick or d2.

You mean conversions off iaf? I was intending to add some air-to-air, anti-air combos as well, so yeah can work on those too.
Off top of my head, (in air) df1, df1, rc, f43, 21 ~ db1, njp, f33 ~ bf3 is 33%.
Yea. this one seem so inconsistent.

Yeah please do, I hit the 1,1,1 in the corner like once =P I think it did 36%, but want to be sure before I put it up.
I didn't include any f43 combos as I feel it's quite rare to ever start a combo with it, as it's 15f startup and doesn't have the range of f112, but if people think it's viable, can try to find some of those I suppose.

Hm if you mean the njp, take it out. (in air) df1, (on ground) df1, rc, f43, 21 ~ db1, f33 ~ bf3 for 32% is pretty easy to get off. You can also do d1 ~ db1 if you're having trouble with 21 ~ db1. That's the best I can seem to get that works from full screen. f43, f43, d1 ~ db1 doesn't seem to connect after the two fans.

Well, you have to hit f43 a bit high, like all f43 combos. Oh, and you have to make sure you're not directly under your opponent, or you'll send them too far for the 21 as well. If d1 ~ db1 doesn't work for you either, you can try (in air) df1, (on ground) df1, rc, f33 ~ db1, njp, f4 ~ bf3 for 31%, but for the f33 you have to be quite close to the opponent when he falls from the fan. Otherwise you could go for (in air) df1, (on ground) df1, rc, f4 ~ db1, njp, f33 ~ bf3 for 30%.

Let me ask. How can I polish my d1~db3. Its it a quick link or just execution. heavy?
I feel most of Kitana's combos are timing based, rather than execution heavy. You usually have to wait just that tiny bit more to get them off, like f43 off db1, f33 after air fan, etc. Also her d2 hits really high, so you can hit them immediately after njp, and they'll go quite far. Plenty of recovery time that way for the d1. The metered corner combos I usually use bf3 enders though, the more you juggle, the harder it is to hit that d1, and I can't do that consistently after EXdf1 juggle.

For the 11~DB1, Njp, F43, F43, 21~Db3 you can just do 11~Db1, F43x2, 3~db3 for 28% (way more consistent and just 1% less)

Okay I need to know. Why the hell isn't Ex Staff grab a brutality. Flip kick into decapation. Jesus brings this to me.

For the corner I normally use:

Corner Punish combo- 11~ExGlaive, njp, JK~Glaive, 33, Lift, 33~Any ender.
Prefer throat slice cause I believe it give you just a little more time to fish another punish

Easier 1 bar corner since I'm not a fan (no pun intended) of d1s in combos, especially in the corner as dropping the d1 means it's now you that's in the corner.

There is one without d1 in corner, and this is the same with f33 ~ lift giving it more damage(awesome), so will definitely add it, as well as for the other starters too. Thanks!


Did not think there were that many Mournful Kitanas out there. =P

(Cleared out some lower damage combos that were either harder to do or just as simple yet did less damage)

Yeah she's fun as hell, picked her up post patch and scoured all the combos and eliminated any non practical ones. I find ex staff has pretty ridiculous utility, since it can AA, anti cross over, check people after block strings or glaives and is safe. 17% is not to be sniffed at either.

She still has to work hard though I feel but she's the only character I really gel with currently.

Since there are no f22 starters for the corner...
