The Top 8 of MKXL at CEO 2016 is set!! And the entire Winners side of the Top 16 advances to play in tomorrow's Top 8, which will go down LIVE at approx 2pm EST/11am PST, ONLY on https://www.twitch.tv/ceogaming In the meanwhile, check out who made Top 8 below:

  • Game Settings: Versus Mode, 3/5 Games, 99 Seconds
  • Winner must keep same character and variation.
  • If the players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select

CEO 2016 takes place at the Wyndham Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida! Community Effort Orlando features players and fighting game fans from over 40 US States and 25 Countries. Open to passionate people of all ages battling for the top prize inside of the infamous CEO Ring.

Mortal Kombat XL (PS4)
$10,000 Pot Bonus

CEO 2016 Takes Place on the 24-26 and is looking to bring a lot of exciting matches for Mortal Kombat X. Although Injustice 2 has been announced that doesn't mean MKX is dead like people think. 202 people are literally entering the ring to fight it out for $10,000 given by NRS studios, this is event is looking to turn into real life MORTAL KOMBAT.

TGS| Sid the Haze, TGS|TCW| Mr. Aquaman, TGS| Yams, Quiet Storm.
SoVA has decided to come in full force bringing That Game Storm and The Common Wealth all the way to Florida. Although thing have been quiet in the Southern Virginia Area there have been whispers of secret training sessions with no stream to hide tech. Although very last minute these players have decided to test there skills in Florida in an attempt to win the 10K and to get discount Fried Chicken

OD Players:
Atai, Fullauto, Alcatraz, STDx2eZ
The other half of Florida. Although people think Kitana Prime, Big D, Noobe, and Toxin when people mention Florida players these 3 have been putting in work online and offline. Thanks to the new netcode making online a much better playing environment these players have been grinding it out in different Koth and 1v1 matches. Along with going to different Florida events to level up for larger events such as this. The last time I saw them play was a Top Of The Food Chain and they proved that they where just a big a threat as the other Florida Players

EVB Players:
Bizzle, Gross, Alright RyRy, Noobe, Viking, Kitana Prime, Whiteest Wade, Konflict, Vendetta, Ashear, Big D, Some Cuban Guy, D.R.
EVB has been waiting for this moment. Although they have traveled to multiple events across the country this is their house. They have brought every player in their roster to this event to defend the house. With a multitude of different characters at their disposal they have many opportunities to take down the people who are invading Florida along with plenty to people to get assistance from if a match up seems too difficult. Will the home field power up give them enough strength to send multiple members into top 8 or will the have issues reaching the finish line.

Yomi Gaming Players:
Slayer, Forever King.
When you think Yomi you think a dominating force throughout MKX's life. With the Likes of Slayer, DJT, MIT, Forever King, REO, etc. Although not as many Yomi players are able to make it to CEO that doesn't make them any less of a threat. Slayer coming off a victory at North West Majors and Midwest Champions while King has been practicing his counter picks both these players are ready to continue to show their dominance in MKXL.

cR Players:
SonicFox, Dragon, Whiteboi, Wound Cowboy, Honeybee, BioHazard.
The other half of domination in MKX's life Critical Reaction is bringing the Big Guns to this event. SonicFox the EVO Champion, Dragon the Rekka Master, Whitebio Wearer of the Mask, Cowboy the Elder God, Honeybee the Kytinn, and BioHazard the Torr. Although some of the players do not travel to every event the ones they travel to they have shown what they are made of taking out top players placing well and proving their dominance in MKX. Will they each be able to get top 8 or is that spot for SonicFox and Dragon only?

Noble Players:
Beyond Toxin.
The only Noble player to be able to make it to CEO considering he lives in the state. Noble Toxin has been stepping up his game left and right. Making it to ESL Finals recently he is always looking for games and streaming. Every time I watch a stream I see people playing against Toxin. It seems that all the games he gets is paying off but will be able to make his way into the top 8 ring?

Panda Gaming Players:
Scar.
The Demo Player. Scar has shown a lot of people the power of Demo Sonya. From his Performances in ESL Season 2 and 3 finals, to KIT, to even online ESL qualifiers Scar brings everything he has to the events he goes to. Although he missed Combo Breaker he is looking to redeem what he miss and go to CEO. Scar recently took 4th at ESL finals will he be able to do better at CEO?

Problem X Promotions Players:
A F0xy Grampa.
1st Place Combo Break, Second Place ESL Finals, Multiple European Major Victories, First Place SCR. F0xy is the best European player in MKX maybe the second best player in the world. F0xy is taking the trip across the waters once again to see if he can prove how good of player he is at another tournament. He has shown multiple times he is able to win but will he be able to take CEO with all the people attending? Or will he find it hard to get out of the pool?

Ultra Arcade Players:
Tom Brady.
I AM SUB ZERO. The character that Tom is most known for a lot of people have not seen Tom at an event in a while. Saying on different occasions that he was done with tournaments it seems that Tom has decided to come out of hiding to show people who the best Sub Zero is. Tom has spent time learning MU's and trying to find a way to make his Sub Zero better. Will it be enough? Will he prevail? Is he even actually going? Find out at CEO
