Jaded Variation Discussion

So I've been messing around with with Jaded recently and was curious if there's other players out there that prefer this variation. To that end, Raptor made a recent post about utilizing Pole Vault with pressure.

Don't cancels into pole vault leave a gap?

I'm a complete scrub so i im not an authority on anything. However I prefer V1 simply for the air glaive and maybe low fireball. Specifically i prefer the air glaive over pole vault even though both are useful.

However this exact issue is exactly why i think Jade would really benefit from legal custom variations.

When pole vault is blocked it ends her turn. Run cancel on hit can let her push them to wall or get her away from the wall. On block its death.

On knock down it can stuff wakeups but not vs the whole cast and timing can change. That lets them uppercut. Your best bet is to just be a wall and walk the them down.

Pole vault does suffer from hit box issues on some crouched characters. Some can d1or d4 and it will wiff up close
