Rolls are fully invincible except to throws.
Acid is a constantly active hitbox.
You can actually witness the invincibility of your roll both existing and expiring as you roll over the acid.

yeah now when i played it in even slower speed on youtube I was for a moment on acid before invicibility kicked in so that killed me lol
