Injustice may get a PC version, Boon "thinking about it"

A PC version of Injustice: Gods Among Us will be and is being asked about, but will we get it? According to Ed Boon on twitter he is "thinking about it", which is really nor a yes or no. Back in December we reported that on ShopTo.net that they had listed a PC version for Injustice, however that link as been since taken down.

As it stands, Boon seems like he could go either way about a PC version. His tweets on twitter are as follows.

If MK9 or MK10 were on PC, I don't think I would ever play another video game. What I would give to see MK9 rendered at true 1080p at 60 fps.

Exactly , the Unreal engine with it's lighting , shadows, and bump mapping looks insane on PC. We can only imagine what these games looks like at highest settings.

I seriously doubt it will happen, but main reason I would like this is that none of my IRL friends interested in Injustice (and MK) have any console, so they would level up much faster otherwise...

Seeing as I don't currently own a PS3 or an XBOX (playing MK on a friend's PS3), I would buy this in an instant. My PS3 SF4 stick works perfectly on the PC, as does my wired 360 pad (that one you would expect).

Online might not get as many people as the consoles, but for SP and offline vs it would be great.

PC is my preferred platform for fighting games (although it's obviously not the best competitively), it's what I'd definitely do most of my playing at home on, though.

I think will not happen ....Ed Boon refused to release MK9 to PC, so NRS will not waste time building a version to PC as well .... such a shame, since IGAU on PC could be a beautiful version regarding graphics and framerate .........

i have a reasonably powerfull pc. quad core i7 3.6ghtz, 16gb ram, 2gb graphice card and solid state hard drive. would any pc guys know if that would be enough?

Man, it's more than enough. It's not like you'll have to run the damn thing on some sort of emulator.

More than enough man, if you can run any of the latest UE3 games on your rig then you shouldn't have any issues playing MK9.
