I only remember them saying it was likely, but nothing specific as to when or certainty. I'm going to be shocked if PC doesn't get it, but it's really not looking good for parity with the console release.
High Voltage ports have a terrible track record. Q-loc has a great one and put out the dumpster fire that was the MK X port. If they give it to them, I'd be willing to trust it. I'm just not waiting around for a year to get it this time.
I'm not willing to blow them off. I started of with MK on PC and the main issue for me was more the feature and content lag than it was the technicals. I'd really rather not have a major release gap, but they wouldn't be the only ones doing it *cough*
aksys *cough*.
The post launch support of the game across the board was really strong though, and even though it took them awhile to figure out how to fix the situation, they made it a point to make sure everyone has the same product in the end and things were done for things in MKX that just aren't normally done. I think they put in enough effort and work to warent another shot.
Generally speaking I really want to support PC fighters too. Somebody has to be buying them if we are going to have them made. I'm still uncertain about what I think if Tekken, but when Tekken 7 comes out I'm pretty sure I'm going to get it on PC and only on PC.
If my PS4 wasn't so handy (vs my PC) and it wasn't so hard to find people to play I would probably just be playing MKXL on it. I almost never use my PSN account to play online anymore, so it might be nice to just not pay for something you simply don't have to on pc, especially when it often feels like a better network.
