    Hey guys, I have a couple questions. If shinnok has you in hitstun from mimicry, why is it that he is able to grab you when other characters are unable to do so when you are in hitstun from their special moves?

    Second, is it possible to escape the stolen command grab from f/t, or any of the interactable command grabs on any stage? Because it seems to me that an interactable is almost guaranteed on specific stages, because even if shinnok isn't near one when he uses mimicry he'll almost always be able to push the opponent to one before the opponent is able to move again.

  4. Shinnok's mimicry has a ton of hitstun but has a unique property that ends a combo and allows you to grab your opponent during it's duration. This effect also occurs with jacqui's shotgun restand and tanya's dust.

    The command grab and the stage interactable are guaranteed but you can prevent them with a breaker.

    You have a lot of suboptimal stuff here, like every character you steal a standing reset (stun/freeze move) from, after you hit them with it you can do j2xxteleport,j1,312xxMimicry. And some moves like Ermac’s lift or Kotal’s air grab allow you to do a lot more damage. A lot of characters that you just do a combo on you can vortex, like Erron Black you get a meterless b3,f2xxstolen power, run cancelxxf2xxMimicry for an overhead and a 1 bar conversion with f4xxHell Sparks (1 hit), run cancel xx Stolen power,f22xx Mimicry. With Reptile’s ball you can do f4xxHell Sparks (1hit), run cancel xx acid ball (if done right it hits),Njp, f3xxMimicry And B3,f2xxHell Sparks (1hit), run cancel xx acid ball, 112xxMimicry. There is a lot more stuff

    In general the bnb for me that does the most damage off Hell Sparks is Hell Sparks (3 hits) Mb, run under xx d2,f3 (or f22 if you get them high enough)xx Mimicry. It does 26% without a damage boost off F4,you get the same damage by doing Hell Sparks (3 hits) Mb, j2xxteleport, NJP, j1,f3 xx Mimicry but it is trickier to get the right spacing

    With Ermacs lift the damage off anything xx Hell Sparks (3 hits) Mb, run under, d2, f224 xx lift, f3 xx Mimicry will be over 40%.
    Anything into lift is Lift, Dash forward, NJp,j1,f22 xx Mimicry

    Shinnok can vortex with Reptile's force ball in the corner, and he does have some setups to launch mid screen as well. Otherwise good video, i didn't know you could vortex Jaqui.

    Also j2xxTP j1 is a combo, good against Scorpion and Quan!

    I have already mentioned everything you said here in the posts above yours, as well as other optimization suggestions, and Impostor can vortex Reptile midscreen as well) and Erron Black, Takeda can be vortexed in the corner, Smoke gets vortexed, and in the corner both Smoke and Sub (both normal and cyber) get vortexed meterlessly.

    Takeda is very tricky to hit them with the spin, but basically in the corner you do f4xxhell Sparks (1 hit) mb, Takeda's close spin (it will sometimes juggle the opponent out of the corner) f22xxmimicry ( if opponent's out of the corner) OR 112xxMimicry ( if the spin left them in the corner).
    For the overhead you do b3,Hell Sparks(1 hit) mb, Takeda's close spin, and if they are still in the corner you do 112xxMimicry. If they are juggled outside the corner you can only do d1xx Mimicry if I remember correctly.
    Realistically, in matches I would try to get Takeda into Mimicry in the corner and then if I guess right with the mix, just hit high damage combo that will end the lifebar, his optimal damage off both f4 and b3 is insane with damage boost and a bar or 2. If you don't have meter you can go for f4xxamulet for a safe 15% mix that leaves them standing on hit, and for b3,b3,d1,1123 which does 20+% and ends in a HKD.
