Theres a little round ending animation that liu does when he wins in mk11. its a clear homage to bruce lee's iconic balcony scene.
The problem is, its done right enough for you to tell what NRS was going for, but it was still done wrong. Liu goes into this wierd T pose and wiggles his hands hyper rotated. Not only is it not what bruce did (He spread/ flexed his lats:
) , but its also pointless and serves no purpose in stretching so it just looks wierd.
Im happy they did something for bruce as if they havent done enough (liu himself, color schemes etc.) but if theyre gonna do something for him, give him the respect of doing it proper. I wished theyd do an update correcting the animation, because done right itd be bad a** and NRS would receive major props for the proper nod.
