Question - Unstoppable Help make my fingers not hurt

I for the life of me can't get b3 into dbf2 tick throw I tried delaying my inputs buffering them and. Can't see get any tips ? I can do b1 tick throw s1 tickthrow all the time but not this one maybe 1 out of 15 tries I'm to the point where I wanna smash my elite controller lol

since there is no db3 special input, do db3-f2

I hope it helps

Okay guys I'm sure this isn't new but for ppl struggling with it like me b3 db2f works 100 percent of the time

Also just noticed if u do b3 right at the end of it hitbox , the tick throw will whiff

what I said was db3f2, it's easier that way
That's cool and work very well, thanks. And I admin that it is much easier to execute than a S1xxDBF2 because after S1 it must be done much faster than pressing F2 after DB3.

I guess S1 and B1 thick throw does not have any "shortcuts", or do you know any?

For me B1 DB2F works and probably S1 DB2F so faster 2 than F is allowed but no other help here. :)

glad there is still someone who is interested in shortcuts. I don't have any more, but the logic is simple.

Find whether the character or variation doesn't have a special move that ruins your cancel (as DB1 ruins B1-DBF2 shortcut). For example Unstoppable can use DB2F2 as he lacks Relentless's Lake Mist (teleport), making things much easier.

Other than that, you can also practice pressing "down" EVERY time you want to down poke, even after down blocking. It will make your down poke cancels perfect (since 75% of the special move inputs in the game begin with "down")

Shiiiit. I read this before and have since forgotten about it and never practiced it. Thanks for bumping the thread, @Hor_PeT and thank you for the tips, @Hidan.

That doesn't mean shit imo. You have a -2 overhead and -6 launcher off of B3.

Go ahead and neutral duck.

B3 1+3's only real drawback is the hit advantage.
Okay real talk why the FUCK is the overhead only -2? And also is like plus a million on hit.

This. It looks like it should have the hit advantage that Kotal's throw has. But no. Jason just stands there for however many frames just staring at their fucking body on the ground full screen away.

It's probably intentional. With that kind of hit advantage, you could probably get a free dd3/4.

@Hidan! OMFG. O.M.F.G.

Doing b1 db2f works PERFECT. Doing it with d1, b1, b3, etc all works perfectly. Hot damn, dude. You helped me with my biggest issue playing Jason and that was with his more optimal tick throws (b1 and b3 imo). Thank you, thank you!

You don't even have to do db2f2. You can just do db2f.

haha, the hype of this post could be felt through here

When you say just db2f, is it with release check on, or just pretty fast input?
