That's correct.

There's basically 2 camps of combo, the "lesser" reset combo, and the "greater"
lesser being only 2 jumps reps and no j3, greater being 3 jump reps with the j3 in the middle.

you can only do the "lesser" rep as it uses up too much of your juggle potential. Everything else you can get the full 3 jump rep.

Probably almost known you can combo out of psionic blast

For example

4 dd1 1 22 1+3 - meterless
4 dd1 1 22 1+3 ex f21 db2 - 1 meter

Etc.

Also a little bit later i realised you can even do psionic blast into b3 and even b3 into dd1 1

So, how valuable do you guys think stampede cancels are to Grodd's combos? I can't get them to come out reliably, and it seems like my time would be much better spent practicing his other stuff anyways.
 
Is it practical to use s3 in combos? Like in the vortex I usually do this off the overhead option.

f3 s3 b2 close leap j2 b2 close leap j2 (I can't land the j3's yet don't hate me)

It adds more damage obviously, however I don't know if you did this in a j3 combo if it would add too much gravity for it to work.
 
Trait midcombo is boss. After the df1(b), 2, 3 does dd1,1 connect?


I end my restand combos with 3. Can follow up with throw, b1 1+3 or f3. 22 catches backdashers

I only am dabbling with Grodd right now, but it seems it's only useful for the meterless damage/ability to set up the reset off of a different string besides 22 and to make 22 safe (which even then isn't it -8? That's barely punishable.)

Since d2 is my go to combo starter... ( btw GL equals gorilla leap)

d2, b2 GL mb throw, b3, j3, b2 GL2, 3 into mixup

d2, b2 GL2, b1 mb throw, b3 , j3, b2 GL2, 22 throw

112 SC, 22 mb throw, b2 GL2, b2 dd2 dash cancel into throw

In regards to my earlier question, s3 DOES add to much gravity for j3 to work, however it does act as a easier way to get good damage without doing a j3, so I guess that's something.

Actually, after a F3 I do Standing 3 (all three hits) Back 2 Down Forward 1 J2 Back 2 Down Forward 1 J2

I actually prefer doing this combo in the corner after hitting a F3 because I can do 112 Trait or if I have trait on I can do 112 and go for mixup. Here's my video on YouTube showing what that mixup is like. The combos are shortened but after a down forward 1 hits while levitating you get a free F3
