Currently, Green Lantern is at his strongest when he is zoning.

His primary zoning tools:
Battery Blast — BF1
11f Start Up | -28f Block
Battery Blast MB

For the most part, you won’t use Bowled Over or Bowled Over MB too much against characters with good zoning options. Use it against characters like Flash or Black Canary who have a difficult time closing the gap.

Battery Blast MB is one of your best tools to get in against zoners. It beats out most projectiles and knocks your opponent down allowing you to dash in.

ahhhh thank you for that. A lot of the same stuff that worked in injustice 1 stills works. But I needed some new stuff. I still don't think i'm using the brick wall correctly.

You can extend the last mb lift for more damage but not worth it unless = kill
Geesh that B2,3 + DB2 MB + B1,3 + Trait + DB1 string is a doozy!! Haha.My DB1 is whiffing the most. Question tho is this even worthwhile? Like is B2,3 as a starter most viable for GL?

That F3, b2 ex battery into LM is a tough one. I'm guessing you gotta b2 at the apex of the F3 bounce to get this to work

so his only "tech" is the same crossup from 3-4 years ago thats easy to see or just wakeup out of and is worse now because his overhead was nerfed. definitely top 5
 
Who here is on xb1 i wana main GL but i feel like faster characters up close pressure me to the point where b1and f2d1 are to slow to stop the pressure should i just d1 into db1 or wall or mbwakeup?

Also is dash cancelling b3ex into a mixup worth it? I usually do 22 -ex b3 into dash cancel

I think a new strat we should try is ending a combo so that it knocks people full screen rather than try to go for the hkd mixup since it was nerfed. Or rather send rush down characters fullscreen and try to do the setup against enemy zoners.

Does anyone have any combos that will send someone fullscreen? I've tried ending stuff in f2,d1,3 and that's a bust. b2,3,3 doesn't send full screen anymore. 1,2,3 works kinda but not as far as I'd like

I'll have to do some different combos then because ending in db2 off the typical lantern combo is not possible. Too much gravity
It's not optimal, but if I really want to send someone full screen, after b3, I'll j3xxMB Battery laser. I'll be playing around with other stuff to optimize it. I also find F2d13 a bit tricky

youre right im sorry im just frustrated. im losing to players im better than so the salt is real. also he got nerfed and characters like superman got buffed or still remain as braindead and good as the first game. even like aquaman who got some nerfs is still good but GL really needed to be toned down? NRS pleeeeease. ok im done bitching on the forums about GL after this post
