Well, since he's not a fire-based character, a step in the right direction would be to give him a power set that's not totally based around fire...And what do you suppose his moveset be? Do you want him to create objects much like The Lanterns already do and copy them? His powers are obviously extremely strong and most of his ability is pretty incomprehensible in a game like this, if he could do a lot of the things his powers allow he'd be overpowered? How does a brawler like Bane or Batman stand a chance against someone who can create concussive blasts of nuclear energy and render themselves intangible?
You have only seen two or three special moves and understand none of their properties when most characters (including extra gear abilities) have like a minimum of 10 special moves?
How is FIREstorm not a FIRE based character?Well, since he's not a fire-based character, a step in the right direction would be to give him a power set that's not totally based around fire...
Look at Raven, Fate, Swamp Thing, Lex, MMH, and all of the other amazing non-traditional characters. NRS has a creative team. They could do amazing things with Firestorm's power set. Unfortunately they must have passed his design off onto Randy the intern.
It's a fighting game. Game balance != comic balance, otherwise Harley Quinn would be a red stain on Superman's underwear by now.
His name is literally the only fire-based thing about him. Well that and his costume. How is FIREstorm not a FIRE based character?
Well sounds like 'Randy the Intern' made up the name as well. His name is literally the only fire-based thing about him. Well that and his costume.
No thats el diabloIs that the guy from Suicide Squad?
i can see where you are coming from...hmm, male pyromancer tanya
He's not underdesigned, he's mischaracterized. C'mon, this is equivalent to Green Lantern being a brawler that hits people with actual green lanterns.I hope he's just zoner jesus so the online salt at this "horribly underdesigned" character can just be legendary.
He's been Black for over a decade now. Jason Rusch/Firestorm, Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle, and Ryan Choi/Atom were all introduced in the mid to early 2000's to help make the DCU more diverse. Is the new Firestorm black in the DC comics or is this an alternate reality?
Wow, nailed it.He's not underdesigned, he's mischaracterized. C'mon, this is equivalent to Green Lantern being a brawler that hits people with actual green lanterns.
So, the fact that I can google "firestorm dc" and find copious pictures of a guy in this costume being on fire and shooting fire at other guys is a mischaracterization? He's not underdesigned, he's mischaracterized. C'mon, this is equivalent to Green Lantern being a brawler that hits people with actual green lanterns.
