Jade is really good now, you will be pleased. I personally think she may even need a nerf, lol. :D

She absolutely does. That return boomerang hitting on the way out and on the way back without a friendly fire option if it whiffs… Is ridiculous

Why should she have to dodge her own projectile? Yeah it's quite powerful, but I think it's getting nerfed so you can't throw a Returnarang if any other boomerang is already out.

Because it's the only projectile that goes out and comes back… And it's the only projectile that can do damage twice while it's out. Why shouldn't she have to duck or block it if it comes back without hitting either time?

Because they're her Boomerangs- she knows how to catch 'em ;)
Sub-Zero can walk into his own Ice Clone, Ground Freeze, etc without getting hit...

The only problem with Jade is the returnarang having that glitch where it keeps coming back instead of just once. Other than that, Jade's zoning isn't unbeatable, you just have to be patient, and play the match-up differently. @tehdrewsus

There is simply no way that C Sub is second to last. In VUMK3, with Glitch Jabs, C Sub is an extremely underrated character

matter of fact, he is much higher than most people know and needs to be addressed

He turns into a fortress, controlling the ground with ground freeze and as soon as you let off of block and try and run or stick something out your subject to a horizontal freeze

if you try and go toe-to-toe with him in glitch jabs, he can cut them short into ground freeze

his slide is very fast and beats out knee starters consistently

his jabs are extremely good, his glitch jab HP's can be canceled into ground freeze

anytime you get hit by ground freeze your open to easy copy pasta big damage and/or relaunch on many characters

anytime he hits you with his standard launcher kombo, he has a good mix-up opportunity on the offensive, jab cancel to horizontal freeze or ground freeze, not to mention other variants

easy big damage punishers, aaHP into ground freeze sujk copy pasta, maybe even more if near corner

if he gets a life lead... good luck brotha. he can turtle spam standing glitch jab's and you can't even come at the guy, let alone touch him

there is a very good C Sub specialist name big_TNG from europe, i wish he would post here

@NobilityV3 had an excellent C Sub as well.

He's hard, but any character can be excellent in the right hands. The freeze has a long startup time, and the ground freeze also does, and is scout able. You'll get MAYBE one jab string into ground freeze every few matches. But again, any character can be great in the right hands.
Sheeva is trash tier allegedly, but watch Bass play her... @nwo has an excellent cyrax, nobilitys sektor is no joke...

This is tier list discussion and in direct reference to Juggs list.

No offense but big_TNG beating top tier characters with his C Sub.

If you disagree with me on that he is not second to last, please state that directly and/or make points. Otherwise, i really dont get the point of your post.

This is about C Sub and he is not that bad. Actually, he is quite strong. GJ's really change him... they really hurt kano

I don't think Kano is too hurt by GJ's since he has one of the fastest sweeps in the game and also his glitch jabs are backed up by his cannon ball.

Lol settle down bro. Wasn't attacking. Was agreeing he shouldn't be bottom tier. Any character is great in the right hands but C Sub having ninja normals automatically takes him out of the lower tier.


Big_TNG has a crazy c sub and we play often
some low tier characters shouldn't be low tier...not because a few players play them exceptionally well, but because they prove the characters are more than viable

How does his sweep ever connect against standing turtle GJ's ?

Canonnball game is nowhere near optimal when trying to have an optimal GJ game

Only got so many fingers at any given time

He is mostly hurt by life lead glitch jabbing, he has a very hard time coming back

One of the best ways to deal with standing turtle GJ's is to sweep the fuck out of them. I'll admit he is no match for a GJ'ing Kabal though, Kabal's GJ's are backed up by a spin which sets up an auto combo.

If your sweep spamming your not charging, though

Good point though about fighting against them. His sharp JK is nice too.

His canonballs are shut down though

I don't know what to say, he has two different types of cannon balls, one of them doesn't require charging. He's a very under used \ under rated high tier character in vanilla umk3.

I agree Classic Sub is underrated. I have more trouble vs good C. Sub players than vs many good top tier players.
Makes no sense!

Big_TNG only seems tough because of his horrible lag.
I've played him a few times in good connections and was surprised how much easier to beat he was.
Coz yeah before that I thought he was real good too.
But as always, 180 ping will make anyone seem tough.

So if Sheeva, Mileena and Classic Sub are all higher tier than people think... who really is bottom tier?
I have a hard time putting Shang at the very bottom because he can basically be Kabal all match.

He is very good and he has the best C Sub Hands Down. The dude is great and especially his C Sub.

I think i gotta put Liu dead last right now. He is so weak, his projectile game is weak in this game and his punishers esp mid screen flat out suck. Bad jabs

CSub is better in lag/delay, that's all. So he's definitely better online in MKAK by default. The only characters I could see him potentially being better than is Kang, Cyrax and Sektor.

That said, I don't really care much about Vanilla anymore, it's so bad compared to TE. There's not going to be anything I don't already know or anything new found out. So I doubt my opinion on the Vanilla tier list will change much at all. If you think CSub is better that's cool, but I don't. I may go into detail on why each character is where they are, but probably not anytime soon. Like I said, I just don't care too much for VanillaUMK3 at this point in time. Not trying to be a dick, I just don't feel like arguing over something I really couldn't care less about, ya know?
