And another thing: if there are any Republicans or Conservatives in this thread, I just want you to know that your party is an active and inescapable curse on the face of free society, and that this world will be a better place when Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump are all dead and in the ground.

I fucking loathe Democrats, but one side is decidedly and unabashedly worse than the other, and there isn't a fucking thing you can say or do to change that fact.
Remember that the next time you speak out of pocket about how everyone is just as bad.
They're not.

I know it's a little late, by my take on the "F White People" stuff:

Of course it's offensive. That's the point. It's supposed to make you go "wow, what a messed up thing to say or message to project.". Clearly if someone actually wore something like that to be serious it would bad. However. The point to be made is that right now we have a criminal justice system, social system, economic system, that all basically say "F black people". So if someone wearing a shirt that says "F white people" offends you, shouldn't you then also logically be offended by these other institutions in America? Especially since someone wearing a shirt that says "F white people" does little actual harm, while systemic racism ingrained in these other institutions does?

That's my take on it. It's like a form of satire or performative art. Like how Starship Troopers is a film that seems to glorify war when in actuality it's supposed to be skewering fascism by showing how ridiculous glorifying war can be.

Amen to all of this.

Phillip Anderson is a Conservative MAGA’t, love to see it.

See, the left throw a little punch here and there. The right resort to using guns and cars - fucking cowards. Oh, and plotting to kidnap governors. Literal terrorists.
And then I'm the radical bad guy asshole because I won't stop pointing out how much more dangerous they are.

Meanwhile, Mister Orange is out in front of all the maskless morons, encouraging that kind of behavior.

Keep telling me I'm wrong so I can keep making y'all look foolish because I'm not the dummy ass people you're used to getting your rhetoric off on.

Broken beyond repair.
This is so disgusting. Why is it so hard for people to behave like normal human beings. Also why does the rest of the world seem normal compared to USA? There’s always something going on in that country.

Violence is violence, both extreme wings of both parties are wrong. This shouldn't be a debate of who is more violent and more wrong.

You can have peaceful and civilized lefties and peaceful righties, and this is great. But then you have the swarms of parasites from both sides who are being violent simply because they have nothing better to do and want to be a part of something.

One day you're punching someone in the back of the head because he offended you, next day you're beheading him because he said something about your religion (referring to the recent event in France). Shit has to stop.

I'm just curious, which are the groups who have been plotting civil wars, kidnapping of government officials, showing up armed to "escort" Q Anon candidates, and beheading people for religious offenses? Is it far left tankies?

Incredible leap in logic.

Maybe we should have debated the Nazis with words eh? The KKK too?

See, I can be ridiculous with the false equivalences too. Sometimes violence is absolutely justified (though I enjoyed seeing it, that video isn’t justified, but other scenarios most definitely are).

If it was the other way around it would be innocent black man punched by violent white trump supporter right?.
Good to see how much black lives really mean to these thugs isn't it.

What a fucking joke. Somebody may need to explain fascism to these Muppets.

You realise that Phillip Anderson is selling out his own people to gain favour from conservative white men (the same white men who despise him) right?

He’s Samuel L Jackson from Django.

Funny how we're hearing precisely dick right now from most of the people who can't type a sentence without blaming the left for something.

But if I mention how the GOP keeps cutting the stimulus bill down every time it comes up because they have no fucking issue whatsoever starving out impoverished black and brown people in the inner cities as long as they can tell their lobbyists and donors they did what they were told, the Marxism chorus will start like clockwork.

Give me a fucking break.

Also, I’m sick of conservatives online and otherwise complaining about ‘Big Tech‘ whilst supporting capitalism. Make up your mind, do you want unregulated free markets or not?

Well, to use an international example, I guess China would be considered "Communist", which is far left, and they are responsible for some heinous things. Look, I understand your point in general, which is why I also said I condemn right-wingers who are violent. Or, to be even more basic, I just condemn violence in general. I used to vote "liberal" myself but these days I'm disgusted with politics so now I'm not voting at all.

I'm not leaping in logic so much as I'm saying that people are becoming desensitized to violence because of opposed political beliefs (or, in the beheading case, religious conflict).

The U.S. dropped bombs on my home country in 1999, killed over 500 innocent civilians who had nothing to do with shit. You can still see the rubble in some of the decimated buildings in the downtown core. That was all done by a democrat government. And so? One of my best friends is American and he voted for Hilary before, wife to the devil who dropped bombs on my home. Doesn't mean I'm gonna attack him or fight him. Rather, I know that, even if he used to support the Clintons, I know that doesn't mean he supports blowing up my home.

EDIT: My ultimate point is that someone has to stop the violence.

We're clearly on about the left and right in the US - as per the thread title. China has absolutely ZERO relevance to the discussion of left/right politics in America. None.

Nope, it's an unbelievable leap. A controversial right winger is punched is a slippery slope to a public beheading? (entirely caused by religion btw, not politics). Utterly absurd, and it should not be uttered in the same sentence.

As somebody else said, we have the tolerance paradox here. "Somebody has to stop the violence" - if that rhetoric was used in the last 100 years, we'd be ruled by Nazis. Fact. You can't allow the intolerant to speak, no matter if you dress it under the guise of 'muh free speech', because those intolerant people want to suppress the voices of the tolerant in society, so by not doing anything about them you are enabling the inevitable intolerance from them. See the image below:

Yep. And pretty ignorant to spout it without knowing who he is.
Yeah just as ignorant to condone violence on somebody for not sharing the same ideology.

Please enlighten me of the terrible things this man has done to deserve the treatment he received.

Some developments shock me a bit:

On the one hand, how the borders are gradually shifting. First, there was the celebration of how a supposed right-wing radical was sucker punched. Then there was celebration, or at least no condemnation, of how a black person with different political views was attacked. - In my opinion this is indeed a "slippery slope".

On the other hand it shocks me how in retrospect justifications are being constructed to somehow justify double moral standards.

@ItsYaBoi: Sorry, but your views are
  • not objective,
  • not convincing me,
  • not necessarily the more tolerant ones ("paradox of tolerance").
It is perfectly fine that you think they were. Yet the willingness to question oneself is precisely the difference between totalitarian and liberal ways of thinking (or political systems). As soon as you describe your own beliefs as "objective truth", things become dangerous quickly.

Nope.

The side I'm on aren't the ones preaching hate against immigrants, separating kids from parents and putting them in conditions akin to concentration camps, stoking the fires of a race war and constantly shafting POC, taking rights away from transgendered people, wanting to take away the freedom of choice for women with their own bodies (abortion), denying the existence of systemic racism and turning a blind eye to the cops, supporting an archaic healthcare system, denying climate change, downplaying - or even sometimes denying - a very serious fucking disease that has shut down most of the world. Need I go on?

If the right can't stomach a punch after the heinous shit that they do and SUPPORT, then allow me to lap up their delicious tears. I'm on the right side of history, and I know it. I'm not here to convince you, you're not that important to me. You've shown that you try to confusticate people with long posts and big words, but you essentially spout similar bullshit to Dave.

I also find it pretty fucking suspect that you seem to weep for this dude taking a punch, but haven't shown even the same iota of care for protestors being gunned down/run over by right wing nuts. Tell us how you really feel. Cosplay wannabe militia men with a ridiculous amount of guns - I sleep, right wing dickhead taking a slight punch - REAL SHIT.

Edit: anybody trying to 'slippery slope' a punch between a right wing, controversial dickhead and a religious fundamentalist beheading somebody in the street over cartoons needs to simmer down. Never mind the fact that the religious fundamentalist has far more in common with right wing conservatives, it's a dumbass fucking notion.
