well if you're winning (or at least on the verge of winning) and he runs away with his tail between his legs to keep his "rank" I call it a win.

Like everyone knows who the better player is and no one worth listening to trusts the ranking system 100%. I mean yeah there are pretty good players ranked high but everyone knows there's also a ton who just cheese their way through the system, one way or another.

I've never played a game with a perfect ranking system

I feel sorry for the people i play against in ranked for two reasons:
a) Its rare to find good opponents
b) My connection sometimes its terrible and i know its me

There's nothing you can do and like others have said ranked MKX is a joke anyways. I personally find any kind of rage quit really satisfying and hilarious.
