is there anyway to punish this move when done as a tick throw other than instant air neutral jump punch?
i'm asking cus well a character like ferra/torr's njp seems too slow to punish

If you are asking for it to be meter-less then maybe a back dash, but I am sure it doesn't work for some characters.

Maybe a d1 can beat it, that is one hell of a read though. For Ferra / Torr and d3 might be a good option.

d1 and d3 do not beat it. and if you back dash he recovers before you can move again
