Datura Hammer cancels (Help)

Hey, TYM! Sorry to bother, but I'm trying to pick up Poison Ivy and I'm having a really hard time with her Datura Hammer combos, more specifically with the cancels after dd1->2. I can't see when I should press up and turn off the stance in time to combo with b2d2. Is there any visual confirms, helps, or anything? If there's already a thread about this - I've tried to find it with no success, maybe I searched poorly - link me to it please. Thank you so much for the attention.
 
What I figured out personally, if this helps. Is you cancel the DD1 from any starter you choose like you normally would then cancel the DD1 into 2 but hold Up right after the 2 animation comes out. If you do this successfully she should end up going back into normal stance right after she's done doing the 2 attack
