Command grab brutality

So I have a question for the kotal Kahn community. Do you have to play non tournament to get the command grab brutality when it says stack three totems does that also count 3 command grab buff's?

There are 2 cg brutalitys , one where he drinks blood (final blow must be a cg and u need to have at least 1 stack of cg buff already) and the other one where he slams ur head in (stack 3 totems at any point of the game and end the match with amp cg). For first one u can do it in ascension but other one u cant .
