What a return for Bigfool! It seems a week off is just what he needed because he's come back with a vengeance... Tired of coming 2nd Bigfool made his way all the way through winners this week, and even mirrored Superjohn's record last week by winning in grand finals without having his opponent reset the bracket! Although we had Suleymon unfortunately missing once more along with rareqq this week we had a return from Ricey, a name change for Liam (to Rocket) and even a new kombatant in the form of Redking! Bringing his crisp A-List Johnny and Hish-Qu-Ten Predator he definitely brought hype with him too this week, especially considering some of the moments he created in some of his matches (see him vs Azarath for example, absolutely mental).

With a good 9 people filling up this week's bracket there were plenty of exciting sets full of our usual insane comebacks, huge upsets (like last week's champion Superjohn being put into losers first round!), very very close matches and possibly the most counterpicks/character switches throughout the bracket in a week so far. Yet again the hype was clear as the local Scots came together for their recurring free-for-all, and to see it for yourself check out the archive below!
Of course if there are more Scots near enough the Glasgow area reading this that would like to get into competitive MK then feel free to come along and join in! You don't even have to take part in the tournament if you don't want to, you're welcome to come play casuals in MK9, Injustice or MKX with us all night if that's what you prefer. Either way we're to help you out as much as we can because it helps us too
Anyone interested in coming along can join the Facebook group here: http://www.facebook.com/groups/GlasgowKombat or those that don't have Facebook can just come visit, we run every Tuesday night at MaxXP Gaming: 29-31 Duke St, Glasgow from 3:30pm to 9:30pm. If you're getting the train go to Glasgow Central then get another to High Street, MaxXP is just round the corner! Entry fee is £3. Tournament signups start at 6pm and the tournament starts at 6:30pm.
