Alert system is not working again

It's been a problem in the past, i mentioned it to @STORMS years ago then again just a few months ago when someone tagged me and i didn't get an alert but saw my name tagged in the thread because I was following it. I tagged a handful of people last night including @B W1zZ and he said he never got it. Is this something others have noticed?

Other alerts work fine, i only noticed it happening when tagging people

How many other people were tagged in the post that you were tagged in? If you were 6th or later, you won't receive one.

You can't tag more than 5 people in one post.

If this isn't the case, then I'm not sure what the issue is. I got the notification for being tagged in this thread the second you posted.

In all my years no one has ever told me that, i had no idea i could only tag 5 per post. Thanks for clearing that up
