Considering how Mkx had an 'adventure ' feel to its Krypt, making this one a full blown beat-em-up sounds like the next logical step. They even gave us a player character this time.

There is a huge possibility it'll be more free roam than the MKX Krypt, and that we'll be able to beat up enemies and as we explore.

Well, judging by the fact that they said that Cary would be guiding you through the Krypt as the voice of Shang Tsung, I could only imagine that the Krypt is something more than it has ever been.

Whatever it is, I'm feeling confident at this point that it's going to be pretty fucking sick.

That would be sweet. As someone mentioned there is an achievement that says to spear bodies in the Krypt, perhaps he can have everyone's specials?

Maybe you can get variation moves for the traveler, like sub ice ball, scorpion spear...

Well the steam achievements have run 5 miles in the krypt and spear 50 hanging bodies on the list and there were ALOT of hidden achievements so there’s a good chance this is like konquest mode. Boon said on Fri that they wanted to evolve the krypt every game and this would be the next step. I just pray to the god that the kharacter in the beginning is someone we kreate ourselves, that would be epic
