The point is, these demonstrations don't stop here. When the test footage for UMK3 on XBLA was out, it was also sloppy gameplay. In their footage for advertising the game, you see a handful of combos and just special moves, uppercuts, etc. I remember there being an official demo video for MvC2 a while back and the footage was crazy.

As far as I know all of Europe was strict on Violence.

Thats why Contra is not called Contra, its Probotector and you shoot aliens instead of Men because that would be too violent.

Ninja Turtles are the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles in Europe, again because "Ninjas" are violent.

Very stupid that they can show sex and nudity on public TV but oh noes better not say the word Ninja.

In Germany there was never a Arcade culture, then only Arcade machines where in Casino like buildings which always are for people of the age 18+
Today its not different, there are no Arcades in Germany, only some Arcade machines in Casinos where you need to be 18+.

So it was simply not possible to build up a fighting game community like in the USA or Japan.

To that comes, that in the 90,s when MK1,2,3 came out and the whole "Violence in Videogames" theme came popular, the simply "banned" MK1,2,3.
But today its not like that anymore with the newer MK games.

But besides that, comments like "OMG why does such a noob plays there" are simply stupid.
Everyone of us is a complete noob in 1 Million other things and if someone makes a private Video of UMK3 DS an is so kindly of posting it on youtube you should be thankful for the information.

When I would be there and would make a video of the new Pokemon Brown Shit Edition there would be some Pokemon freaks how would post "OMG Noob he has a Level 3 Pikachu and doesnt use his XYZ Power against Meotew" lol.

Just so you know dude, I do appreciate that someone taped you guys playing this in the midway/nintendo booth, just saying that you guys are noobs at it.

I won't say you guys suck ass because you obviously never played it before so I give ya that. We'll just saying that in most cases where ever there is a demo of MK played, despite where it is there's always noobs playing it where in other games cases there will be a veteran player or someone that knows what they're doing showing off the demo, this way it gives fans a better idea of what the game can do and such.

However, in saying that I just want to let you know dude that I was the one in the first place on here that found this video, it's not like any gamer site gave a link or updated. They didn't I checked...

So, I'm thankful for being able to find it and show everyone. I actually found it thru another video.

BTW, Even though I don't play pokemon, I wouldn't mock it it's a very good game and one of the best for the DS :wink:

Just called up EB/Gamestop and that's the dates they gave me, of course this is subject to change possibly until the game actually does come out.

Actually, the USA is pretty stupid for having to hide what we are all born with yet being able to saw someone in half with a machine gun is commonplace.

Yup. I just watched a couple of Resident Evil movies on TV and got to see tons of blood and guts. But a Nipple? Hell no you can't put a woman's nipple on TV! That would be immoral!

Since the game is old, I suppose at this stage it really doesn't matter THAT much but they should have a veteran gamer at the least, not saying people should be doing 100% ermac combos or anything but know the concept of the game enough to play it for a demo. 8)

Not really, and besides it's a much better control then the PSP one if you ask me personally and definitely a better D-pad then the 360 one.

I think most here can agree to that at least. :wink:


BTW, MKK I too also have an oldschool Phat DS as they called them.

I want a DS lite though.

The problem is that I use the analog stick on the 360 because it's much easier for me to pull moves off with it, I have pretty big hands and that's why I favor bigger controllers, the whole control scheme on the DS isn't very good for me. I tried a Bleach fighting game on it and it was kind of akward, maybe if I spend enough time with it, I'll get used to it, but for now...big controllers.

Dude, you use the Analog stick? wow :shock: I give you props for being able to use that thing lol but speaking as how the D-pad sucks for the 360 with fighters I can't say I blame ya lol

People with monsterous hands or big might have a problem with the DS, best thing I can honestly recommend is going after the older one man.

DS phat, they still have them available online, good used ones at EB, Gamestop etc
