This is a great video showing off the DS version live gameplay from the Nintedo/midway booth showing it off. The guy apparently doesn't know the special moves other then basics but it looks arcade PERFECT!

I remember seeing this when the reviews of the gameplay came out. It looks like those reviews are accurate. The only problem they mentioned, something this vid isn't high enough quality to show, is the aliasing from the downgraded resolution.

It sounds like they are emulating the arcade. Which would mean they are compressing the arcade res down to the DS res which will make thin lines go a little crazy.

But, if it plays well, I'll be all over this like DHS on a baby Spears.

Well, you have two choices dude.

A. Nintendo wifi USB connector, little device that comes with a CD to install onto your machine within 5 minutes or so, then a few minor steps such as setting your DS up etc it's fast and easy. It comes with directions so no worries, I figured it out on my own in 5 minutes or so and I'm not a "techno head" PC wise really so you know it's easy. Another thing I love about nintendo, their shit isn't complicated to set up at all.

B.If you already have a wireless router, you can use that too.

Go to www.nintendo.com the nintendowifi section to get a list of good router recommendations if you don't have one but want one.

Personally, if you already have a good one you can most likely use that, or just buy the nintendo usb connector, it's cheaper and costs only 40 bucks as oppose to a wireless router which is more money.

Ohh yeah and of course you need a high speed internet provider, either cable internet, DSL, fios, optimum etc, etc.

And it's free and works like a gem online, rarely ever lag and I play Mario Kart, Puzzle League online all the time.

EDIT: Saw it like 3 times and i noticed a bit of weirdness on the recovery after getting hit by an Lk. Well its too small and the quality isnt that good to judge. Still seems good...

Midway is like Nintendo in the aspect of "being secretive about their games" one thing I've realized over the years, I'm a big nintendo guy and love Midway they both tend to tease the fans...

In a way I like this because if I know too much too soon it kills it for me in a way and raises peoples expectations.

To dreemer, you're right dude. Not too long ago I have the magazine somewhere lol that said Germany DID in fact BAN anything violent such as MK, Manhunt and GTA...I specifically remember those 3 titles.

I guess they manned up finally with that law and allow violent games there now.

Afterall, that is what the ESRB system is for. Why some people ignore it or forget about it puzzles me...

My favorite band is from my home country, Germany. Same with KMFDM. I'm more into that kind of sound, Ministry, White Zombie, Static-X, Rammstein, etc.

In Germany there was never a Arcade culture, then only Arcade machines where in Casino like buildings which always are for people of the age 18+
Today its not different, there are no Arcades in Germany, only some Arcade machines in Casinos where you need to be 18+.

So it was simply not possible to build up a fighting game community like in the USA or Japan.

To that comes, that in the 90,s when MK1,2,3 came out and the whole "Violence in Videogames" theme came popular, the simply "banned" MK1,2,3.
But today its not like that anymore with the newer MK games.

But besides that, comments like "OMG why does such a noob plays there" are simply stupid.
Everyone of us is a complete noob in 1 Million other things and if someone makes a private Video of UMK3 DS an is so kindly of posting it on youtube you should be thankful for the information.

When I would be there and would make a video of the new Pokemon Brown Shit Edition there would be some Pokemon freaks how would post "OMG Noob he has a Level 3 Pikachu and doesnt use his XYZ Power against Meotew" lol.
