One of my all time favorites. Maybe my actual favorite. I wish I understood what frame data was when I was playing it. I think it's an even better game than I knew.

There were even several versions of it.

Tekken is pretty popular, so I would expect people to generally be more tuned into the Tekken. I don't think latter VF games had much mass appeal.

It is a (less floaty) juggle combo based 3D figher, so similar in that regard. It's not as cartoonish as Tekken, and probably more appealing to people that are a bit more serious about the genre. In the age of 50 zillion characters, Tekken delivers more options, so there is that.
