On the first weekend of 2020, GameWorks is inviting the Northwest to come together with a line-up as determined by the community.
GameWorks's 2020 Fighting Game Regional Kickoff will be another two-day event held on Fri, Jan-03 & Sat, Jan-04. All games will be welcome to this event. For Pre-Evo, there were 200 attendees and 14 games featured such as A Sound Plan, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, and Million Arthur: Arcana Blood!
Applications can be submitted at https://forms.gle/KZd6dMCY2YueVXMa9. Each game requires a Game Lead to be run including Evo 2019 Main Titles. Responsibilities include ensuring there are bracket runners, necessary setups, and commentary for those games making it to stream. If you've ever wanted to see a game be run, now's your time to step up.
Coming this early January, it's time for us all to come together again after the holidays! Registration will go live with accepted games next week. I look forward to spending time with everyone all in the same in the new year!
