Found out that Quan's x-ray can also be used to counter whiffed tele's. Extremely circumstantial but its worth noting. Won a match from doing it last night, and I trollface'd IRL. :p

Smoke is a tough match-up for Quan. But its not impossible. Like Dink mentioned, the best (and only) way to play this MU is with patience and safety. Going balls out and throwing skulls or sky drops while he's tossing smoke bombs will get you killed. Smoke bombs will always catch your sky...

Liu Kang's punch through the chest one is my least favorite. There are special moves that are more brutal.

After re-watching the finals from last year's PowerUp, I feel like there's a good chance Johnny Cage is his new main. He fits all the criteria given to us, and I know Tom practices with JOP. Just a thought.

It's extremely risky, though it does occasionally work. My favorite thing to do after a front/behind stomp is immediately crossover JIP into 112trance or b21 launcher. Tends to catch people off guard who go for an immediate punish. Though the crossover jump can be highly punishable as well.

The full MK9 cast will return, minus Freddy. All they need is for Raiden to perform some crazy ass resurrection shit and tada, everyone's back. (Or those who died could come back as servants of Quan Chi, even) Additional character's I'd like to see: - Havik - Reiko - Tanya - Shinnok - Sareena...
