All the kid characters feel bland or cringey af to me, kinda similar to how I felt about the kombat kids in MKX, more or less. Like Firestorm and Supergirl have pretty bland dialogue imo. Beetle and Robin aren't much better for me either.

I don't see the advantage in a good chunk of the RC chars if they weren't designed to RC. Like I was never a super dedicated MKX player but I don't see what advantage, say, DF Liu Kang would've had if he wasn't made to RC his fireballs

Probably one of the main reasons why people expected/are expecting another IJ2 patch, the last one just didn't feel like it changed much at all.

I sorta do this when I first start picking up characters and just stick to the absolute basics like a scrub because it just gets you used to the feel of the string/special and then you can do more 'advanced' stuff

Elbow is a super easy reliable punish if you go into the lab and learn it with your character, it's not like Flash lightning kick or Robin BF3 that are legit inconsistent as fook to punish. Manta can punish it with B1 and B2 for example. He has the faster jab than all other characters because...

Bane just doesn't play IJ2 that great is all, you can't buff him.
