I expected it, but still prefered Kuai Liang. His dialogues seem to imply he might go down a darker path again even if now Scorpion is Lin Kuei too, so maybe we still get his brother at some point... The moveset is sick tbh.

If they keep it as it currentlt is, EX version is total crap but regular version is OP (they might end up inverting both). 30+% damage combos into vortex and enough time for the bar to refill enough to land 4 consecutive combos in the vortex.

Are custom variations confirmed now? Do we know if any other move was changed? Because Ground Ice + Rising Ice is the best combo wou will find. You can vortex to death before using up all your energy if you know the right combo paths. This might be enough to take me back!

Exactly my thoughts. I liked his comics a lot and couldn't believe he was involved on those aberrations. Shao and Sindel looked like sadistic teenagers with lots of cringe and the whole story had a lot of bad storytelling and deux ex machina situations.
