I'm not certain I fully understand the Sonya tech seen here... I've done it, but the timing is really elusive. For those who can't see the video, Sonya kameo rings can be charged for a moment to allow the pre-patch F4.3,k combos to connect.

IMO this season is much better. The lack of armor makes it more entertaining, and I'm using "auto level" to keep it from becoming trivially easy. I see a lot of potential here, honestly.

The patch changes were really minor. Scaling changes, meter cost changes, and slightly different combo routes. "Creativity" isn't impacted at all, Cyrax is still good, you can still use 2 kameos in a combo... people are hella overreacting.

It's like the SF6 throw escape bug. They'll fix it and it'll be fine. For now. just make sure your combos work on P2.

I use K 1 2 T B 3 4 S I like having my thumb over block and use index/middle/ring for everything else.

I'm on the last mesa, and I feel overall Invasions are... kinda bland? The armor doesn't really bother me, what does bother me is that it's trivially easy. I don't mind playing against the CPU, either. I can happily play towers all day, but almost every battle in Invasions is over in seconds...

Upblock isn't a flawless block and the timing isn't difficult. IMO it's going to be the primary tool for blowing up predictable jump-ins. This is very different tho, agreed. I think in most cases ducking a high and punishing with a traditional grounded punish will be more damaging and cheaper...

Upblock seems like it's a better solution for jump ins. It costs less and likely leads to more damage. SylverRye only mentions high attacks here. Does this also work against overheads? I guess we'll find out soon.

The model is very pretty and she looks cool in the game. I have no idea wtf some of you are on about. Not every female character in every game exists solely to sexually excite you personally.

You should give the Peacemaker show a try. I don't really like comic-inspired media, generally, but Peacemaker was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on TV.

That ball of light following Tanya around (starts at 0:55)... any ideas? It seems like she might "cash it out" to teleport/parry at 2:03.
