couple of things: 1- it's not that she doesn't have a good mid, she just doesn't have a mid when she's in at all..if she tries to b2,3u4 she can get flawlessed blocked like very time..even if they are so noob to not flawless block, they can just stop the combo with a poke because of the huge...

and? she's gonna end up being close to her opponent, her poke is 7 frames, not the fastest..anything can happen, one touch, a throw or even an unexpected jump out and boom u lose the corner..

just don't try to anti-air him as he can cancel the jump-in with teleport.. learn wave dashing and stay in

Dude i respect what you'r staying..the problem is i played nearly a thousand matches with sonya and i never dropped that corner combo BUT sonya Is shit at keeping someone cornered... She DOESN'T have any good advancing mid or low except for her b3 Witch Is not scary at all really...her F3 doesnt...

in the corner her b1,4xxringxxb1,2,3 does leed to good damage but the combo is very very hard to do...the window is very tight, so i personally think that if u are among the few people that can do that combo U deserve your damage, period.. and don't forget if u are late on the cancel you get...

so i main ermac and i've never really used his ex istant air db2...i've seen players throwing it out every once in a while, but not a big fun of it personally..i mean one bar? for no damage midscreen and only plus 2 on block.. though, i see the use of it at the corner..it could be pretty useful...
