I'm not a big Mileena fan and never played her much, but I'll be damned if she isn't better here, than last game. I'll definitely be giving her a spin! All of MK9's returning characters have been fantastic, but, IMO, she's the biggest improvement, thus far. That said, I can't wait to try out...

Personally, while I like him overall and his moves are cool, I don't care for his character model. He looks shorter and stockier than his MK9 iteration, and it looks a bit too douchey. Then again, that may well be the point, so good on NRS, if that's the case.

Tyler and Derek are just fine. You wouldn't want a bunch of dudes with no personality, and that's not what we're getting. We're getting two guys, plus guests, who are clearly as excited about making/promoting this game as we are, about playing it. :)

While I never really liked Reptile much to begin with, I was wondering if his design in MKX would make things better; it didn't. This is easily the most underwhelming reveal, thus far. As creative as NRS has been with design/moves, this just doesn't feel quite up to par. As was mentioned...

I picked up MK9 after its release, so I wasn't around for the lead-up. How many character reveals were done, before it dropped? Did Boon essentially follow the same pattern that's currently being done?
