MKII Jax is actually a pretty fun and deadly zoning character in MKT. He's got his MKII tricks up his non-metal sleeves in this one, but in the spirit of getting all the characters some attention, let's see who else used MKII Jax in MKT and what they know about his tactics and combos.

MK11 Kabal = MK9 Kitana
He is still very much his MKII incarnation. I have not tested this, but I'm sure that he still has his MGP in MKT. With how fast it comes out, you could abuse this quite well and even use it to bait your opponent into jumping at you where you could punish with SUJP to Air Wave or a simple aaHK or Uppercut.

IIRC, he has an autocombo that you can get a free sweep after like MK3 Jax right? It's been a long time, so I am probably mistaken.

MGP is still in full effect in MKT and it's very fast. He has a combo set up very similar to MK3 Jax where it has a mini pop up followed by a big punch, however, he has silly recovery after it can cannot do anything if you leave off the last hit. It looks like you should be able to do the no avoidance GP after the cross screen punch it doesn't seem to connect. You can get a ducking LK after it in the corner on male ninjas but that's about it. Vs Sheeva and the Robots you can get a HK or LK, I will have to test to see, might have some stuff available with specific timing. His air wave I believe has a limit of one usage per combo as well, which is interesting.

The Air Wave has a time limit only, and i think you can get unescapable Ground Pound after his punch combo

Vs Sheeva I tested aaHP, JK, Air Wave, RH, JK, Air Wave, HK (7 hits 98%) to test the Air Sonic Wave's limitations and it made me think was that a combo in a video? Cause I think I remember it, what about Gotcha at the end? That would make it like 102% or something. I often forget that generally there are no "One usage per combo" limits and that's it really a time limit that just coincidentally limits it to one usage in basic application. Both Waves also miss entirely at point blank range.

After his kick combo you have some corner options, but not like MK3 Jax.

Also do we know all Jax ground combos? I don't think I knew about Baraka's HK, HK, HP, B+HP until a few years ago, I just wanted to make sure there were no linger combos that crossed from punches to kicks or vice versa.

Tried all kinds of stuff, he seems to only have two combos:

HP, HP, HP, LP
and
LK, LK, LK, HK, LK

Wow, he is very clunky.

The reason why I asked is because many of the old listings don't have the Baraka combo, and actually, many don't even have the Stryker 4 hit combo that's been there since MK3.
