@Marlow As fast as you jumping right to that part of my post lol.hehe
Just using a fast example man, I was in a bit of a rush earlier but my point is whatever you change there's the butterfly effect that causes a ripple that'll change things all from that one change. Time travel vmcan be confusing but at its basic definition pretty simple if you keep it simple like back to the future as oppose to say terminator or donnie darko(where it made literally no sense)

I personally imagine that each instance of time would have its own evolved reality. If you could break out of your time, go back and change something, you would only change it for that instance and any others where you continued to go back until the first altered instance eventually reaches the point in time where you no longer have any reason to go back. You now have 100 year streaks of alternating outcomes, not one altered future/history, and you could never change your instance of time. Start messing with instances further with multiple trips for multiple reasons, and each instance becomes more and more unique. Kind of causing parallel universes by jacking with time.
I think it depends on what the changes are, I definitely believe in the bttf, terminator and mk method of time travel where I'd you go back and change something time will adjust and you'll either cease to exist or evolve into essentially another person even though you'll still be you if that makes sense. Perhaps your old memories will overlap with newer ones or newer ones will replace the older ones. I think this could be debatable.

There's also your theory as one possibility obviously though if you back and kill your own father younger or grand father you'd definitely cease to exist. But if you went back and gave your younger self advice, knowledge of something your life could turn out better or worse.

There was another movie forget the name but it went thru a few name changes where this teenage kid invented time travel and wanted this girl, his father died and he kept going back until things were right. But after a while I think it would get convoluted if you make smaller changes but if bigger ones are made who knows what would happen. Lol

I don't think I'll ever forget going to the doctor's office. About the time we saw our first cases here I started having the worst Asthma trouble I've ever had. I went to the doctor 3 times in about a week and a half's time, and it was a different experience each time.

First was fairly routine outside of having to answer some screening questions. Four days later no visitors were allowed, only patients with appointments, and forced use of hand sanitizer.

The last time there was a check in station where you were screened, and your temperature taken. Staff was fully required to wear masks, and most of the waiting room chairs were removed to keep people apart.

I'm pretty sure that is the memory I'll associate with all of this; even more than empty store shelves.
That is insane man. Yeah, I’ve been needing to go to the Dr for reasons unrelated to Covid or flu or anything. But I didn’t want to go unless I absolutely needed to. Way too risky right now honestly. And just the other day I got an email that my primary care Doctors office will be closed until further notice. I really hope something doesn’t happen, COVID or otherwise. Because I will have to go to the madhouse known as the hospital, which is far riskier than the Dr’s office.

This situation gets more terrifying every day tbh. It also puts it into perspective how even more terrified I would be if I worked in the medical field. One of my best friends is an RN who is working on the front lines. I cannot imagine the 24 hr stress he’s dealing with.

Trump seems to be in a good mood today and the team is answering a lot of questions. They're talking about considering changing the recommendation for masks, and recommending that all states keep everybody home.

Pretty informative/long press conference that's still going on if anybody has time to watch.

What recommendation change are they considering for masks? Like, does that mean they are recommending people to wear masks more often now? I haven’t been able to catch much news the past couple of days.

I saw an article this morning suggesting people wear makeshift masks, like bandanas.

I'm not so sure she's talking about guns, she's just a fuckin idiot. Probably about being able to go out and wanting to be able to party. 99.9% of gun owners I know are very responsible and don't have this mentality. Even the more belligerent ones are always just talk.

Yes exactly. Unemployment when that new bill is active is what, nearly $1,000 a week or something? I’d much rather be safe at home making 1k a week then having to go out every day and working my ass off during a pandemic. I feel a good way to balance this out would be to give everyone who is working during this pandemic bonus hazard pay.

I am definitely thankful to be an “essential worker” and need the money. But at the same time, I’d much rather be in self quarantine. And DEFINITELY would much rather be in self quarantine making a stack a week for doing nothing, lol.
Agreed. This shit fucks with my anxiety and mental health

So uh I heard trump just giving out money??? Is that true? how do I sign up for that?
If you made less than 99k last year you'll get around a $1000 to $1,200 sum of money via the IRS

If you have your tax returns set up so your refunds happened via direct deposit in 2018 or 2019 then you will receive it that way. Otherwise apparently you will need to set up direct deposit and supposedly they are setting up a way for people to do that if they've already filed without electing direct deposit.

One thing that's stressing me out about the virus in New Mexico is how rampant it is in the Navajo Reservation. If you didn't know, it is huge, covering parts of New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. A lot of it is very rural and undeveloped, so communication on things such as the virus is hard to do. A ton of people don't even have running water. They have their own president and often times don't have to follow the same rules as people in New Mexico, people aren't staying home. This is due in large part to their inability to pass information quickly to the people who unfortunately don't have access to the same things we do. It puts the population on the reservation and the 4 corners states at risk. Yesterday they finally issued a curfew because they don't have any control over the spread of the virus.

Like all these things, it will hit these kind of people the hardest. The poor always get the shaft.
Not only will it hit them the hardest, some of them are so remote that they might not even know the virus exists before they're sick. Some traditional Navajos still see medicine men and don't got to hospitals, they are far more susceptible to death from illness as well as a higher infant death rate. Not only is poverty a factor, but being removed so far from modern society as well.

It’s worse that they are so conservative with the testing, my girlfriend had a recent scare and all they did was give her robotussin and Tylenol and told her to comeback when she’s pretty much damn near dead in order to actually be tested for it.

Here is the link to sign up for unemployment. Unemployment benefits have been greatly expanded to accommodate anyone suffering a loss of income due to the effects of Coronavirus, quarantine, and social distancing. https://www.dol.gov/general/location

At this point it's hit everyone hard especially here in NYC, where well let's just say if you're poor you don't want to live here. This thing hits everyone hard wherever, rich, poor, middle, etc you just have to be lucky or not at this point if you do go out, pray you don't have it when you come back home.
