Yeah, I honestly don't mind the drone at all I think it's cute. Though, I'd gladly exchange it for her getaway flip or a command grab like her arm break in MKX. I really wished they would have given her oneDid anyone ever notice in any of these trailers if Cassie's drone shows up at all?
Cause I don't think I saw it in this latest one at least. Which makes me think, why did they give her one? Cause the Cassie I know, looks like this:

It's not such a turn off that I won't play her and I don't really need (or particularly want) the other 2 things you mentioned here... I just feel like a drone hovering around with her all the time is weird (like she needs help she clearly doesn't need... she has the green powers unlike her mom). It's be really nice if Cassie and Sonya didn't have drones while they're fighting. Something about it just rubs me the wrong way. Its annoying in the same way Ferra/Torr was annoying how the one threw the other around. Just seems too gimmicky I guess.

or maybe NRS got to conclusion that the drone, as a auxiliary gadget, fits much better to Cassie's playstyle than Sonya, and are fixing things up in MK11.
Also an option. I always liked Sonya as a more hand-to-hand fighter. I wish they would have given her the leg grab
yep, it's crazy, each MK new game, they change Sonya gameplay fighting style a lot ! MK9, MKX and MK11, you have Sonya playing different each time .... I think she is one of the most experimental character NRS use treat to test things in the franchise !Also an option. I always liked Sonya as a more hand-to-hand fighter. yeah, that's for sure .... but her drone is a terrestrial one, more limited, I guess ... the flying one type, has more mobility and take part more in being present on special moves, hum ?

Damn... You're right... I'm holding onto blind hope that it doesn't have to be there. It's not enough to diminish her outstanding character design but it's... A bit of annoyance lmao. She will for sure be the Day1 though. When I saw a screenshot of her drinking a mocha with sassy ass Aviators on and smug deep sucked dimpled cheeks... JUST as much character as her pops. She's going to be amazing lol
