I like ketchup and mustard. Their breakdown videos were legit and I’m looking forward to their mk11 content. I’m not really familiar with anyone else besides some players like sonic fox and honeybee.

Is there anyone else that does content like ketchup and mustard? Like breakdowns and noob explanations?

No content creator has educated the community about Mortal Kombat 11 as much as Ketchup and Mustard have done thus far. Once the game has been released, though, I expect Honey Bee, Pig of the Hut, REO, Shujinky Dink, and Tom to do the same. Maximilian is the most popular content creator in the fighting game community, but he tends to focus on Capcom games, particularly the Marvel vs. Capcom series.

I've got mad love for Ketchup and Mustard. I feel like they're the some of the most consistent in terms of raw love and support for the games.

That said, I don't follow NRS' scene that hard, so fuck me
I agree they are awesome members if the community and I'd easily put K&M at the top.
Since it's influencers I'd have to include: Super, Max, TrueUnderdawg, HBTw since thier subs are far higher than the pros combined.

Then I'd say pros like:

Sonic, HoneyBee, REO, ForeverKing, Dragon, Rewind, Mitsuownes ect.

PnD for sure. Gotta say man, feels wrong that you made them as separate options to choose from..
I understand your point, but I wanted to keep all the siblings (i.e., DJT and MIT as well as BioHazard and Honey Bee) separate from each other in order to be fair to everyone.

I highly doubt NRS will select players based on this poll, but I do believe the poll will provide a good sample of whom the NRS community thinks are the top influencers in the community.

I voted other for UnCaged games! He loves MK and honestly I think he actually gets more excited for it than many of those other people on the list. I voted for others as well but he was the one that my "other" vote counted towards.

My boy Uncaged!
He’s the master of MK and he’s the reason I play it, he knows everything! Also I love Low Tier God, he taught me how to accept loses and never give excuses. Dynasty always gives us true leaks so I need to add him to!
I’ve never heard about K&M and others but I think they are weaken then these GODS of MK!
IT’sMY OPINION AND THEY ARE ALSO FACTS

My top 11 NRS community influencers INPO:

- @SonicFox5000
- @REO
- @Pig Of The Hut
- @Mr Aquaman
- @Kitana Prime
- @Dragon_FGC
-Ketchup (idk their @)
-Mustard (idk their @)
- @HoneyBee
- @Tom Brady
-All the people that were there before MK9 that layed the groundwork and kept MK alive for years and years. Before the support from Midway (NRS), before large prize pools, before pot bonuses, before social media was huge like it is today, back when you played and were apart of the community SOLELY for the camaraderie, pride, and love for the game. People like @Shock, @Konqrr, @dreemernj, CrazyDominican, @Tom Brady, @Pig Of The Hut, @STORMS, @THTB (Dontay), @DanCock, DC Hustle, Dark Rob, 9.95 Phil, @REO, @Gerchap, @General M2Dave, @MaceWind, @Jago, @Check, @Tim Static, SuGaR, and the list goes on and on. All these people and more were integral parts of how this entire thing we call the NRS community started. All of us driven by passion, competition, and our little community that we had built over the years. Most people today that weren’t apart of that or weren’t around don’t understand how much of an impact all these guys had. The history of our scene runs deep, some good some bad. All of it was pivotal, even the creation of this site was and has been.

And I love all of it. I love the history, I love each and every person that ever was, is, or will be apart of our community. Because each and every one of you has your own role to play. We can be combative and argumentative at times, and there’s been some bad apples, but at the end of the day, we look out for each other when it matters. That’s the entire purpose of having a community in the first place.

Sorry went on a tangent/rant... lol carry on.

In my own personal opinion:

1. Ketchup & Mustard
2. SonicFox
3. Super
4. HoneyBee
5. ...

I actually don't even have a fifth one.

I think it's important to distinct between the NRS community and TYM. Most of the people on the list aren't even known by a good chunk of the NRS community. It's 2019. Not everyone was around in 2011, where someone like REO was relevant. REO might still have his opinions in 2019, but he reaches and influences much less people than someone like HoneyBee, who has already outgrown REO by a good amount.
And HoneyBee continues growing, like him or not. I'm not a fan of HoneyBee, because he is kinda... bland... But he is doing everything right, when it comes to nowdays standards of influencing on Youtube and Twitter.

A very, very, very, very important part of influencing is the way you provide content and information. It needs to be high quality and showcased in short, crisp videos. Good influencers do just that. Again, to mention REO... He uploads podcasts, which go for 2 hours and feature 4-5 screaming adult men, who play the blame game all day long.
No one wants to listen to that shit. It's lazy as fuck even, because all he does is to cut out a portion of his Twitch stream and upload it on Youtube. The right way to do it would be to split one podcast into many smaller videos, which cover specific questions during the podcasts. Upload these videos daily or every other day until your next podcast gives you enough content for new videos. That's how most people work. Their attention span doesn't last for much longer than 12-15 minutes. I'd rather watch short and crisp 7-8 videos, which feature a discussion than to search for something that interests me in a 2 hour long podcast.

And yes, SonicFox is doing the exact same shit as REO. But then again. SonicFox has been somewhat relevant at the end of MK9. He became more and more relevant during Injustice 1. And nowdays he is all over the place. People from other FGCs talk about him. He had a speech at the Game Awards 2018. And he has a huuuge Twitter following. When he writes something on Twitter, TYM creates shrine threads in his honor to discuss what he had to say. And that's something you can only obtain with constant top-notch performance. He does just that. Someone like HoneyBee doesn't, so someone like HoneyBee has to circumvent that with a professional Youtube presence. And he does just that.

Gotta give a shoutout to Hanson & the rest of his crew, ain’t no one keeping UMK3 alive like them. But on the topic no one in the scene puts out content as quality as the Condiment Brothers. Honeybee does solid stuff but it’s nowhere near as useful or as polished as the UK brothers.

Super Honeybee all are must watch YouTube channels. I also really enjoy Raptors vids with no commentary and straight into the action. Love his VS screen intro.

Love this podcast as well

REO's channel has a plethora of high quality videos such as character guides, tier list discussions, high level gameplay, and documentaries on the history of the community and past games. Besides, there is no high quality content to be created or shared because Mortal Kombat 11 has yet to be released. Ketchup and Mustard had the privilege of having early access to Mortal Kombat 11 when all other content creators did not.

Also, why are people not showing Tweedy any love in the poll?

REO has been around since 2011 and yet people who came way after him have risen to the top.
You protecting him won't change the fact that he isn't as big of an influencer as the other guys I've named. I just pointed out what's holding him back.

I like REO. He is articulate, always chillaxed and helpful. He just doesn't present himself in a way, where he would reach a bigger audience and also do that quicker. Maybe he doesn't want that. Maybe he is fine being more niche and interacting with his own small community. And there is nothing wrong with that. It's just that his own small community is the only community he is influencing.
And since you've asked who the top influencers are, we have to look at the people, who reach and influence more people. Which is also why I said that there is a distinction between the NRS community and TYM.
