Just don’t click on the thread bud. SF’s speech was political, thus so is this thread, aka it’s on topic. When people discuss politics it gets heated, usually because either side is never EVER going to conceed and actually listen to the other side. The left thinks the right are misogynistic, racist, facist nazi’s. The right thinks the left are politically correct communist snowflakes who want to destroy America. I’ve seen it so much and it never does any good especially when it’s text based arguments.

My point is, the best course of action is to let the people in here say whatever they want and get it out of their system. The thread will die eventually then everyone will only be talking about MK11. So basically, ignore it.

This is honestly a really accurate description. I live in RURAL NEW MEXICO so as you can imagine it’s pretty polarized. You’re either considered a racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted conservative who just can’t wait for the wall to go up. OR you’re a pussified, entitled, communist liberal who subscribes to all 97 genders. The people on the far ends of both spectrums ruin it for the more level headed people on both sides and kill any chance for discussion.

Nerds...listen. Do we all forget that the kid is ONLY 20!! HE'S NOT EVEN LEGAL ENOUGH TO DRINK! Yeah his delivery was not the best but he's clearly not a public speaker, clearly he was nervous, and clearly he has never been on a grand scale to accept such an award.

Was what he said a blanket statement, yes. BUT he feels that way because unfortunately that's his life! You cannot be mad at somebody who speaks from their own experiences. We see how he's been treated by people who do not like his stance. We see the hate and it is from the far right. If his experiences were different then he wouldn't have said what he said.

And if you're mad for a person simply telling HIS story, then un-fucking-subscribe. It's that simple. Live YOUR life and let the kid live his SUCCESSFULLY. PERIOD!

In my 8 years of visiting this site, there has never ever been any divides within the community dealing with identity politics...

Every other pocket of our lives is dominated by these types of arguments... can we please just not fall into this here... this has always been a very tight/INCLUSIVE community...

And when I mean inclusive I don’t just mean minority groups but for people of more conservative backgrounds as well..

Let’s not over analyze sonic fox’s comments and just get on with the mk11 hype train!!

Can we just talk about one main point here... all republicans do not “hate gay and black people” like sonic actually said!

Every time I see a sane person bring this up they are basically called a liar and a nazi. I have NEVER been able to have a real conversation with anyone who is hard left or hard right. Their “team” can do no wrong and they are just waiting for their turn to talk.

So. Do people REALLY think it was ok to say all republicans hate black people and gay people? 40% of African Americans were shown to vote republicans in the presidential election on cnn of all places.

Every wants to just ignore the most inaccurate thing he said and just pump their fist in the air.


Let’s not forget when he posted “all black top 3 black awesomeness” at a recent tournament. What if someone white said “look all white top 3! White awesomeness! They would be called a nazi.
