Question - Displacer Tips for 3rd F12B2 in Displacer's BnB midscreen combo

Is the timing different on males, then it is for females? I’m seeing that this combo is even more difficult to land on female characters which seems inaccurate imo, I can land it nearly 10/10 on female chars, but almost never against males. Is there any trick to landing the f12b2 x3 against males?

1) It does NOT work on Goro. If you want to extend damage on Goro, just do F12B2 DF2 MB into whatever else.

2) For the rest of the cast (both males and females), don't change things specifically for males and females (complicate your life) and try to do the following, which is universal for both males and females.

3) If your string starter F1 starts at point blank, i.e, right next to the opponent, keep in mind that the run distance on the 2nd RC is a bit LONGER than the 1st RC. The 1st RC is very short. Just practice F12B2 (1st RC) F1. Get the feel for what's the shortest distance you had to run to get the F1 to connect. Then practice F12B2 (1st RC), F12B2 (2nd RC) F1. Get the feel for what's the distance you had to run for the 3rd F12B2 to connect.

4) If your string starter F1 does NOT start at point blank distance from opponent, it gets a bit shaky and you will have to do F12B2, F12B2, F12 BF3 (sacrifice the 3rd chain's B2) for 28%. Hence, If you're barely punishing without meter an opponent's attack that had some pushback, you only get 28%. On the bright side, you can use a bar of meter and do F12B2, F12B2, DF2 MB, B14 BF3 (or B1... 1+3) for 36%.

Thanks for the tips, however I’ve more or less given up trying to land it on most of the cast lol. It’s just too inconsistent, especially online, when I could just do f12b2, f12b2, d1xx Superman, which is super easy and only does 5% less. On Goro I’ve been doing f12b2, 11, f12b2xx Superman or exdf2 b14xx tele, which works consistently on him. I also in general try to end combos that include exDF2, in b14xx tele for the restand and +frames, is there a particular reason you go for Superman or b11(1+3) after ex shocker?

It is consistent on everyone except fat ass Goro. You just need to be aware of if you started the string at point blank distance or not. Its hard to be aware of it in the heat of the game at times. IF not at point blank, just go the 28% cos the 3rd won't connect. Superman for corner carry and consequent corner bullying. The corner can be brutal against a good displacer if you're on the receiving end. (1+3) ender if you won't make it to a corner and need a hard knockdown. b14 tele + frames can come with its own risks against someone playing specific characters and knows the displacer match up very well. Its not always the perfect ender.

IT DOES WORK ON GORO THO.
