Mortal Kombat 11 release trailer at Combo Breaker 2018?

Looking for the MAWWPP Bucket!
Personally think they should wait till towards the end of Injustice Pro series to announce it. If they announce it to soon will kill the hype and viewership for Injustice 2. We all know how netherrealm games work.. As soon as a new netherrealm game is released the previous one dies hard.

Damn man, we planned to see combo breaker with my buddy get some snacks and watch the reveal of the new MK but these fake news got us dissapointed, why people make these fake leaks im tired of it.. plus Ed doesn't help either with his troll posts hah.. :(

I almost cancelled hanging out with a friend to see the reveal, good thing i didn't. I find it odd they didn't reveal anything though, unless they're going to buck the trend of releasing a reveal trailer before E3.

Wait, why do you find it odd? Wishful thinking aside...

I’m not sure why they’d drop a new AAA title at an event with only a few thousand people watching :/
A teaser / CGI trailer to get the hype amped up a bit more wouldn’t be that odd, though, especially in this day and age when the YouTube uploaders jump on any fart that Ed Boon does and run with it.
Dropping a teaser trailer would guarantee that these uploaders then put it on their page, and do their own speculation videos, and the game essentially starts getting promoted without NRS having to do much after that until E3.

NRS definitely doesn't need an event for that, though -- they can just do it whenever per usual. I'd be more likely to do it just before E3, in June.

It'd be more like Ed to get up out of bed, brush his teeth, have a coffee and than casually drop a trailer on Twitter in the morning or midday on a week/business day for maximum media consumption.

I find it odd because what other event is between now and E3? This was the perfect place within their usual timeframe, that's why so many thought it was coming. They're just gonna drop it a few days before E3?

Does the leak have some credibility due to lego villains being true? The reveal trailer just came out for that.

Nope. Lego DC Villains and Lego Incredibles were leaked for sure about a month before this "leak" came along.

One of the reasons why I knew this leak was fake was because they didn't say the name of the new MK, they just said "Mortal Kombat". Same goes for Rocksteady's game -- they offered some details for it but failed to give a name or anything of importance other than the fact that "its a new IP" and its "fantasy"

Another thing that doesn't make any sense is that they said Lego DC Villains and Incredibles were going to be shown the most during E3, even over the new MK and Rocksteady game. Like wat. Lego games do well, yes, but Rocksteady's new game is something MAJOR and they aren't going to prioritize showing freaking Legos for the 1 millionth time over that.
