Tweedy vs Tekken Master in a Combo Breaker Edition of The Clash

The Combo Breaker hype train is speeding on with no end in sight. We've got out Mr. Aquaman and the K&M Brothers on mic, we've got Forever King in a million money matches, and now we've got confirmation of Tekken Master and Tweedy finally settling their beef on Sunday in a live edition of The Clash.

Mr Aquaman threw up the announcement on Twitter after some further prodding by members of the NRS scene as to whether or not this was actually going to happen. This is probably tentative, as Tweedy appears to be the only one to officially agree to anything, but we'll see what happens. There's plans to get some other matches going as well, making this an official Clash up on Stream.me. Forever King looks set to play, and we've got people pulling for Tom Brady (maybe against Buffalo in a Sub-Zero mirror?). Regardless of the final schedule, this is going to be a crazy weekend for anyone in the NRS scene.

Go spread the word so they can try and get more players, since basically everyone will be there. You can see those matches go down on Stream.me at some time on Sunday. MK9, MKX and Injustice 2 should all be taking place on Netherrealm's Twitch Friday and Saturday. Make sure your weekend is free, you don't want to miss a thing!

Unfortunately, unless the stream.me noobs fix this connection for non-Americans, I'll pass this Clash. Upload it in YT once it's over.

I bet on Tekken Master and Buffalo to beat the others.

OK I know this is off topic but let me get this straight: So even at Combo Breaker we don't get a Sunday spot in any of our games but almost all of the Japanese games do? I thought that we would get a Sunday spot for at least one of the games if not all 3.

While it's a little beat, I get it. Street Fighter V, Tekken and DBZF are bringing in the views. Injustice 2 has been a bit weak the past few majors, but this is also the first event of IPS Season 2. The potential is there, but it also had the 4th most entrants, behind all those games. So that just barely didn't make Sunday due to time, if that's the criteria.

It'd be cool if MKX or MK9 could have swapped places with Uniel or King of Fighters for Sunday, but it might be how the Combo Breaker crew is trying to stagger things. Friday-Saturday is American styled games, Saturday-Sunday is Japanese

I figured it might be because of the number of entrants, rather then views actually. But if IJ2 does has the 4th most entrants then it indeed should have the Sunday slot. Differing between American and Japanese games also make the whole FGC looked splited, on top of everything else. But if CB is IJ2's first major for IPS Season 2 then I hope it only it gets better from there.
