General/Other - Wrestler Theory on Quad Grapple

Through multiple hours of rinse and repeat, I think I've figured out just when you're supposed to press 1+2+3+4. Every time Jax slaps his opponent across the ground, there is a bounce. In that bounce, you have to press the input. After numerous times pressing and pressing, I finally noticed their was a fast bounce on the last hit. You have to press on the moment of contact, exactly. Most of the time you'll hit it too early, not too late.

Note that you can remove your finger from the d-pad in order to assist pressing at the exact moment, though it is not needed.

Honestly, this is just a troll move. If they buffed it to 22% or something I might consider using it, ever. You just do it to troll, really.

INSANE EDIT!!1!:

That's what I'm talking about.

They should buff the damage, make the frame inputs reasonable, and change the motion of it. That motion is just so awkward to do. Make it down to back-up or down to forward-up, increase the frame inputs on the chains, and call it a day.

The one thing I want for them is to increase the damage to 24% or somethin'. Make it better than any other command grab, just because of the extra inputs. I mean, look at Mileena's damage - the inputs really change how much you're gonna get.

What I fail to understand is why there is this forced difficulty when other command throws deal the exact same damage with no more inputs than the initial throw. Needing to practice for harder combos is fine but stuff like this when other command throws are easier for the same damage, or Jaquie stanky leg when other characters have "up + button" moves and she could have it the same way is random difficulty for the sake of it.

If you want the player to be able to choose the side the opponent ends, just make it a direction button hold at the cost of 1-2% of total damage and be done with it.

...but Goro, Jason, and Erron Black all have that same wonky input. It makes no sense to make that goofy input be universal for command grabs. Make the motion fit what the grab actually does. Down to forward then forward up feels similar to what it takes to lift someone off the ground. Erron Black's should be down to back then forward since its a lunge. Goro's and Kotal Kahn's should be simple down to back or down to forward - since they're both huge and lifting their opponents should be nothing to them. In addition, Tremor and Triborg should also have command grabs because of what their strength levels should be. In addition, it would help round out the characters by alleviating some of the problems both characters currently suffer from. (Although that might make Smoke a little OP now that I think about it.)

Since we are talking about unjustified difficulty. Is bf2d one of those to? Can anyone input safe bf2, confirm hit and input d for unsafe launcher? Because if no one can it is just added difficulty, and they might as well make downward dash punch bd2 or something. I actually can't confirm it, and for me it's useless. But i am bad in confirms overall.

You can't confirm bf2d on its own at all because you don't know if it has hit the opponent. You can confirm from a combo(i.e 123 bf2d) but not raw.

This Ragdoll is the most difficult brutality in MKX. Because I'm deaf, I had to watch with my own eyes to time them down. With my eyes I can notice that Jax makes it more and more faster in every bounce. In every bounce I press the correct input twice to make them link.

Yeesh, that's rough man. Good on you.

It's a shame that there's no reward for the effort, though. An extra one percent for the difficulty is just... bad.

Not having issues for the slightest with input's or whatever. NRS adding 2 more frames to the 1 frame link would already be an improvement and in my case make my life complete! IMO still my #1 brutality, with the hammer brutal from leatherface on #2.

We should complain for brutality and for quad grapple last slam... Its just not fair, look other grapplers, like more damage and just one input, WHY?
