Yeah f*k that. Almost everyone on pc seems to be wifi warriors. I just got done running a set with KroakenTFW when you get this on ranked and you can't decline:
I quit right on the character select screen, not gonna bother.
How is that different than ps4 ranked? I feel like the connection quality has been better overall. I hopped back to ps4 and started screwing up everything. Maybe that's my imagination. I get bodied on ps4 so it may just feel like things work better when I'm steam rolling people that haven't played much yet.Yeah f*k that. Almost everyone on pc seems to be wifi warriors. I thought you could always decline low fps. I think you made the right call.TFW when you get this on ranked and you can't decline:

No it mostly depends on the ping I think.I thought you could always decline low fps. I think you made the right call.
I've not had to deal with that yet. Hated playing in slow mo on mkx. That seems really messed up for force you to play a low fps person. No it mostly depends on the ping I think.
Didn't play Inj2 on ps4, But i did play MKX on all platforms. Inj2 on pc only has (last known) a little over 2000 players. I have yet to encounter anyone i didn't know already who had less than 140-300+ms with yellow connection. In MKX i could get clean games all day. You still had some wifi warriors but for the most part a good portion of the players had good connection (in my experience).

Everyone in ranked on ps4 is Wi-Fi. Like everyone. You are a unicorn on ps4 if you are wired, and I'm pretty sure the only reason I know they exist is because I am one.Didn't play Inj2 on ps4, But i did play MKX on all platforms. Lol well i guess i'm lucky i didnt have to deal with it on ps4 then. Seems like wifi would be more common on a console than a pc though. I mean most people wifi their consoles for ease of use whereas almost everyone has hard lines for their desktops.Everyone in ranked on ps4 is Wi-Fi. Like everyone. As an FYI, I've found that the benchmark showing 60fps doesn't mean the whole game will be stable. Slaughter swamp on the left can still run slower than the benchmark and so do a couple of other stages.Guys, if you want to fix your lag issues, you'll need to set your settings lower in PC Settings till to the point the benchmark shows a stable 60fps. I had to lower mine due of my old crappy GPU (NVidia GeForce GTX 550Ti). Now I got Palit NVidia GeForce GTX 1070 and it's a beast. I have EVERY game in ULTRA HD settings (I could go to 4K, but never bothered due of the technology not being ready for true 4K experience), possibly the most max graphics. Will test it on Tekken 7, now that I just bought it. I can't play it at the moment due of waiting for the paint pistol to paint side panels and bezel of my fightstick. Not gonna play Tekken 7 with any controller.
For those who are questioning about differences between PC and consoles. The difference is great. The PC has no lag with the right settings, AND has everything in 1080p/60fps compared to the one step behind graphics the consoles have.
I noticed this problem since MKX, so I know what happened there. I had to test it so many times before going ranked. After lowering the PC settings there and the resolution, I was fine and could smoothly play with everyone, including @PND OmegaK and @PND_Ketchup and @Immortal .As an FYI, I've found that the benchmark showing 60fps doesn't mean the whole game will be stable. Slaughter swamp on the left can still run slower than the benchmark and so do a couple of other stages.
I had to finally lower my screen resolution to keep the game stable across all stages. I've also run into other players where they were slowing us down because of this. The game would run slow on one stage and would be fine after switching to another stage, but they got a green rating because the benchmark was fine.
The benchmark should be worst case scenario but I don't think it is.
Off.I have terrible cutscenes stuttering in Story Mode. It can basically be unwatchable, because i am missing both video and audio.
BTW. Can someone please explain Release Check/Negative Edge? And should i have it ON or OFF. It's ON by default. I am using XB1 controller.
Thanks.
Everyone here is going to tell you to just turn it all off, and it's pretty solid advice.I have terrible cutscenes stuttering in Story Mode. It can basically be unwatchable, because i am missing both video and audio.

I genuinely thought i was just terrible at NRS games again and my inputs were super trash then @Zyro pointed out that negative edge, etc was bugged. i was instantly like OH SH!T i forgot this game has those xD. Turned them off and could do combos again finally lolEveryone here is going to tell you to just turn it all off, and it's pretty solid advice.
All those options are intended on relaxing inputs to make it easier for people to do things, but it also has the side effect of making it hard to impossible to do some things in the game depending on your settings and character.
If you have enough interest to play the game for more than an hour it's probably going to just make things harder for you. It becomes pretty easy to tell when it's on if you have played with it all off. As a WoWo player I will start doing random up shields and I'm like "why is she doing that?"
For PC be aware there is a bug right now where it will try to turn all that stuff back on when it loads a new fight even though it shows it as off. There is a work around which has a sticky on the Steam forums.

Hey everyone, I'm buying a gaming laptop in a few days, so I'm looking for some input. Been on the go more often recently so I've been away from my consoles so it's finally time to invest in one. I'm not rich and I can't afford a top tier rig, but I have about $1200 maybe $1300 to spend.
I've narrowed my choices down to these.
MSI GP62VRX Leopard Pro 694

A couple quick questions.
Is it worth the upgrade and the price jump to get the Lenovo Y720 over the Y520? I'm looking for a laptop that will get me through this generation of games. Doesn't have to be ultra quality, though that would be nice, but High settings are definitely wanted. If I can get Ultra on games like MKXL, Injustice 2, RE7, Killer Instinct, SFV, Marvel that would be awesome, but again not completely necessary. I'm willing to drop the extra cash, but please, anyone who can give advice, I appreciate it.
I won't be doing video editing. This is strictly my mobile gaming rig. As I said, I have been doing more traveling than usual recently, pulling me away from my consoles. I don't really know any shop that will do that swap for me. Am I better off getting a rig with a 1050ti over the 1060?http://www.microcenter.com/product/479018/GP62VRX_Leopard_Pro-694_156_Gaming_Laptop_Computer_-_Black
This one is the beast, but if you can and you know a shop for the laptops, just ask to switch the GPU into 1070Ti. Why? The Ti model has better performance than the vanilla one and very few nm. The fewer nm it has, the better performance it has. 1070Ti just released this September. The 1070 model has 8GB and has almost the same price as the 1060. Do a comparison on both performance and price and you'll see.
I got this rig:
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Palit NVidia GeForce GTX 1070 8GB
CPU: i7-3770K@3,50GHz
SSDs: 860 and 870 (both have 232GB)
HDD: 683GB
And I already have every game in ultra HD and smooth 60fps. If you want to go about video editing, you'll want the 16GB RAM.
The other machines have less space from SSD and has lower stuff than the two. You'll need more space for the games you might want to install. If you check here, you'll see that 1060 is better than 1050Ti.I won't be doing video editing. This is strictly my mobile gaming rig. Will the MSI GP62VRX Leopard Pro also run everything at ultra HD 60fps even though it's a 1060?
Also, what about the other machines in the list? Will either of the Lenovo's listedn run Ultra HD 60fps? Thanks again for the help.
