They could've done so much more to give Supergirl some of that Cassie Cage sass but "as if..." seemed to take precedence in their workshopping of her.

Also, to the OP's point, I agree wholeheartedly about Firestorm. I'd probably be playing him if I could stand to listen to him. Praying for a Deathstorm premier skin that is at the very least less cringy than Edgelord Red Hood.

That's my biggest issue: the repetition.

It's ridiculous.

Fate's dialogue is strange to me bc Dr. Fate's deal isn't predicting the future all the time or whatever but he's always saying "THIS IS YOUR FATE" and stuff like that. It's not cringey though because Fate's voice sounds cool asf and he looks badass, so its acceptable, but strange.

Cringestorm makes me want to die every intro/clash.

Brainiac dive kicking at the speed of light still triggers me till this day. Where in the hell throughout all his iterations does he DIVE KICK or use any real melee combat?!?! Oh, and why is his skin a poopy green instead of a healthy lettuce green?

Imo the worst voice acting goes to red hood. Nothing like the character in the comic books as far as attitude goes imo. Also regardless of firestorms quotes,(some characters are designed to be a bit dorky or lame on purpose) his appearance options are for sure the worst. You can change everything head to toe and the only thing you will notice is the helmet(which look dumb anyway).

I dunno, man. I actually like how Inj2 Bane is a compromise between traditional depiction of him as someone so huge and muscular that he looks deformed, and more "realistic" portrayals (such as Tom Hardy's or one from Arkham Origins).

His dialogue during matches is disappointing though. Perhaps it would not be in-character for him to joke around, but come on. I, for one, agree with this Batman: "You need a new catchphrase".

Then again, it seems that Inj2 has a lot more generic lines than MKX had. Perhaps, part of the issue lies there, in the budget/deadlines.

On the other hand, pretty much everyone have their gems, so...

What I don't like in this game is how they made a Red Hood. Initial impression on him was that he was supposed to be someone more gritty and down-to-earth. And then enters this guy who does ridiculous acrobatics for no reason, sprays bullets with no direction, tries to shoot himself in the foot (or in the face, it's not clear what he expects to happen) every time he wins a round and flies around using recoil of his pistols for propulsion. How on earth this works together with some of the lamest, non-dynamic animations in the game, such as every second of his specials or his kicks, is a mystery for ages. I didn't even know it was possible to be clumsy and spoffish at once to this extent.

Yes he may be "touching" another man's balls but he's actually smashing them into mashed potatoes which is hilarious and bad ass!! I know they got it from Blood Sport but arguably top 3 most iconic MK move ever. Loses to Scorpion's Fire Breathe and Sub's Spine Rip.
