Necro is sick af. Impostor is sick af. I hate Bone Shape and don't play it. Shinnok overall is stupid. Do you guys realize how awesome shoulder is? Shoulder is awesome. A 12f advancing mid neutral killer that we can throw out ALMOST whenever we want, burn a bar and confirm for a full combo. It's fantastic. Impostor's teleport pressure is ridiculous now because there are no armoured launchers to be scared of. Necro can handle people which is bonkers, like Necro does fine in a lot of MU's now. Shinnok is really really frigging good. I still need to play a lot of the cast but I'm starting to think Shinnok might have landed higher than I thought he did
Agree. I don't know the kind of weed nrs guys were smoking the day they decided to give Shinnok the new ex shoulder, specially considering the way patch treated armors in general, and the fact that he was already top tier before the patch. 2hits, 2 hits of armor, hit confirmable, and safe on block.
Gap before meterburn is pretty much irrelevant since armor launchers are extinct and backdashes can't punish it. There are just 2 characters in the game that have a way around to punish mbexshoulder to my knowledge, and at least 1 of them loses the matchup anyway (I suspect the other one too). Boneshaper is incredibly stupid now imo, I'm surprised people haven't talked about this more. Maybe it's because the game was already dying when patch came out.
Imposter and Necromancer are very good, but Boneshaper shines everywhere in the screen. Good zoning, good range, mixups, safe strings, new f3, pressure and broke exshoulder. Overbuffed + general mechanic changes in the game created a monster. Cancer.
