What's new

Let's analyze Fighter Pack 2... Spawn beat Hellboy, Johnny Cage beat Raiden

Oh yes. Let's look at poles and judge nrs for not having my character because the people on twitter has to be the only factor in determining dlc.

Cage is rushdown, raiden has anti zoning potential. Now tell me who makes more sense in this game.

Who from watchman would actually be a unique edition to Injustice outside of Dr. Manhattan? Like most of them seem like characters without or limited super powers who we already have in the game. What about Watchmen says fighting game character?

I will leave my seal on you!
Hellboy even had DC crossovers in the past. And lets not forget the MK comics published by DC for MKX....technically they are DC characters now. ;)
Yes they do have relations to DC right now, but they aren't DC characters.

They are owned by WB, who owns MK and DC, and MK comics published by DC....just saying, they belong to WB and have comics made by DC. It is no shocker that they are in DC fighters. I see no wrong in it.

If someone just read the Mortal Kombat X comics but did not play the game, they would not be wrong for thinking Scorpion, Sub Zero and Raiden are DC characters, because they literally are now.

They are owned by WB yes, and the comic was published by DC, that's also true, but the aren't a part of the actual DC universe, they only time they were connected to it was via MK Vs. DC which is not canon for the MK universe, although after seeing Sub-Zero's intros in IJ2, it might be canon for the Injustice DC universe and even then it is not connected to the actual canon of MK which includes all of the other games of MK except Shaolin Monks (hell the MK movies have had their own canon and they aren't connected to the canon of the games).

Just saying :)

You're completely right, Watchmen characters don't fucking belong in this game. The Question would be a better fit than Rorschach, Captain Atom for Manhattan, so on and so forth. We really do not need them, they don't fit at all, and Watchmen just needs to stop being milked in general.

I WILL EAT THIS GAME
I still want Neo. Or at least Constantine with a Keanu Reeves skin or something.

I am totally lost in this game without Doomsday, so all my hopes are with the DLC now.
That's my favorite comic character ever.
He MADE the first game as good for me as it was, and no one even is close to him design wise.
Even though guys like Scarecrow and Brainiac are bizarre and able enough to hold down the fort.
If we end up not getting Spawn after he's been speculated since forever, I hope it'll at least be for someone worthwhile.

Hellboy is really intriguing, though. I know almost nothing of his powers or mythos, I just know he's a baaaaad man.

Fuck it I want Kabal now!
I would seriously mark out for Kabal.
Or better yet, Havik.

If you're gonna do an MK character every set, don't do a predictable one.
Fuck Cage. Liu Kang. Sonya. Quan Chi. Whoever.
Pull out someone totally unexpected, but badass enough to not only sell and be appealing, but maybe act as a lead in to the eventual next MK project.

Havik would be perfect.

Yes, he's an MK character. But he's been gone so long, he's almost neutral territory.
He's the Cleric of Chaos, so there's no reason for him NOT to just appear out of fuck all nowhere.
And he would serve as a bridge between players whose first major game is IJ2 to lead them right into the lap of MK11, which given where the story, technology, etc. is leading, you'd have an already built in niche fanbase of neutral players jamming with a "neutral" character, who they'll then mark out even harder for when the T-rated gloves are off and he can go full mace fuck nuts.

The Fantasy is the Reality of the Mind
My guess is that Darkseid is the 10th DLC char, otherwise I believe that we'll see Spawn in FP3, and ONE Watchman (so cringe) as the 10th DLC char.

BTW, back then I voted no to the last poll in pic (Watchmen).

Guys. If you don't like the DLC , don't buy it. And for gods sake stop pre-ordering dlc when you don't know who is in it. I didn't buy deluxe , haven't purchesed any dlc characters and i'm not dissapointed in the slightest.

I don't care how much hate nrs gets. If they put havik in this game, I'll never play another fighting game.
