feels you have to hold abigail's ex tumble flip thing. Cant aa it cuz the armor, I think the only counter is air grab or just block and punish? Maybe dash under it

He has a lot of anti fireball options either way abigails out here deflecting my booms like his fingers are aegies mirrors lul

It's all so very confusing.
Welp.

I logged on last night and played 5 FT3 sets with my buddy and main training partner. Myself playing Akuma with one single match foray into Karin just to check some things.. him playing Abigail.

I hate to admit it, but I had a blast. I love Karin and when I played her for that one match I fell back in love with her. But if I'm going to come back to the game, I just want to have something new to keep me occupied and interested. My rule is Akuma ONLY for a minimum of three months. Unless I just outright come to hate him for some reason then I can permanently switch back to Karin.. but that's it. No secondary or pocket or whatever. I main Akuma.

I have honestly missed a few things about this game. I still see a ton of bullshit and crap I dislike and Capcom might be literally evil, but if I stop bitching about the things the game isn't and start trying to celebrate it for what it is , shrug, there can be some fun to be had here for sure.

To me sfv is the funnest fighter out there, easy to learn but hard to master. I like injustice but for some reason I get bored sometimes. I LOVE mk series. Although this is coming from someone who has never played any tekken,gg,kof games so those might be fun also. Akuma is real fun to play, he has so many tools that you can choose what's best in what situation. Never played Karin but I do know she's a footsies monster. I think she's too hard for me to learn lol.

Karin is probably one of the hardest(er) characters to learn and I feel like finally sitting down with her and learning to play her helped my general game immensely. I certainly can't be said to be "good" at this game by any stretch but Karin definitely helped me with hit confirms, Oki, pressure, defense, AA s, everything the game requires at a basic level. I still rely way too heavily on jump-ins and taking to air though.

Yes Karin is a space, footsie, neutral character that I also believe will help you be good at all that if you play her. She looks fun also.

Tekken , to revisit it slightly, is a brilliant brilliant game, but the investment to become even decent at it is so astoundingly high I just don't know if I have the time snf patience to manage it. I do need to find a semi regular training partner though and get more real games in before I make a definite 100% decision.

As of right now, I don't really play any FG. In trying to get back into SF but haven't yet really and all I do in Tekken and Injustice is practice BnBs and some basic tech in Injustice
This is exactly how i feel.

If you ever want a training partner or someone to try new games with/against let me know. I have Tekken on PC and Inj on PS4. SF of course doesn't matter since its cross platform. Im located in semi-central US (kentucky)

I haven't fooled with Tekken at all recently and I feel like that's a shame, I just haven't found regular matches and I DESPISE random stuff.,

Anyone know why cr.mk into Abigail Punch connects sometimes and other times it doesn't? It's def not only on counterpunch, doesn't appear to be a range thing since I've had it connect and miss both close and far and well, idfk tbh. Anyone?
