Button Set-up on fightpads

Time to learn :^)
Hey guys,

I picked up Injustice 2 recently and I'm liking the game. I've been playing street fighter and marvel for most of my time in the community, so this is my first true attempt at an NRS game. I have played on stick for years, but I have yet to find a very comfortable layout and I'm not very enthused with the idea of using eight buttons on stick. I tried the PS4 pad, but I wasn't a big fan because I like to use my left hand solely for directional inputs. Plus the potential of it ever connecting to another ps4 by mistake in tourney bothers me. Not often on Ps4 pads, but its a possibility.

With that being said, I'm looking into this fightpad by Hori: https://www.amazon.com/HORI-Fighting-Commander-PlayStation-Officially-Licensed/dp/B01GVOFIAA/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_63_t_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=BQVRNX00XE9E4TTP8FSS I tried the older FC4 before I was able to get a stick for my ps4 and thought it was solid, so I figured this one will be decent. I can move all eight buttons to one side, which would be massively helpful in my inputs. For those of you who play on fightpads, how do you guys usually mad your inputs?

By the way, sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum to ask. Couldn't find a better spot.

I have the hori fight pad and it's amazing.
For NHS games I leave it on default but for SFV I map EX to R1+R2 instead of using 2 buttons for EX.
Deffientley go for the hori pad you won't be disappointed.

I map stance switch and meter burn to the shoulder buttons so I can just press both of them when I want to super. I mapped interactable and throws to R1 and R2
